INSULATION DISC FOR SEPTIC TANK LID
An insulating disc can be easily installed and removed from inside a riser of a septic tank. The insulating disc is seated atop an opening of the tank lid and seals around the riser inner surface. The disc can include a core formed of R-10 extruded polystyrene sandwiched between two layers of high-density polyethylene. A flexible gasket can extend outward from the disc to seal against the inner surface of the riser. Retention tabs can also be provided to center and hold the disc in place. The disc can be divided into two semicircular halves that are hinged together. A hook, eyebolt and/or rope can be used to aid in removing the disc from the riser.
Passive grease trap using separator technology
An apparatus and method for a grease trap for separating grease and solid waste from waste water. The grease trap includes a tank having a downwardly shaped bottom. An upwardly shaped baffle insert divides the tank into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. An outlet port near an upper part of the baffle allows waste into the upper chamber. An inlet invert in the tank receives incoming waste water, while an outlet invert removes water from the tank. A removable cover covers the tank and allows access for removal of accumulated grease and solid wastes.
Underground water-storage vault and method for installing same
An underground water-storage system that includes a sump having a base and sidewalls that cooperate to define an open-topped box that defines a reservoir, a plurality of plastic water matrices each defining a void space for receiving water, and a lid. The sump and lid are formed of a reinforced geomembrane material and include welds and are prefabricated in a location remote from an installation site of the underground water-storage vault more than two days prior to installation.
Valve pressure assembly and methods of operating the same
A valve pressure assembly for pressurizing an actuating mechanism of a thief hatch is provided. The valve pressure assembly includes a pressure bar comprising a first end, a second end, and a body located between the first end and the second end; a connector coupled to the body and configured to removably couple to the actuating mechanism; and a clamp coupled to at least one of the first end and the second end, the clamp comprising a fastener removably coupled to the relief valve, wherein the fastener is configured to adjustably move the pressure bar and the connector in contact with the actuating mechanism to facilitate pressuring the actuating mechanism to remain in an operative position.
Taper-wall riser with tab connectors
A plastic article useful as a riser assembly for a septic tank or as part of another structure is comprised of a multiplicity of identical shape conical wall plastic risers. The risers are attached to each other at joints by tabs which engage rim segments; each end of the riser has alternating tabs and rim segments. A riser assembly wall undulates in the lengthwise direction. The risers nest within each other for shipment or storage.

Supplemental lid for containment sump
An apparatus and method for providing a water impenetrable barrier between an underground duct and an access opening. The apparatus is particularly well suited to cover a secondary opening in a containment sump of an underground storage tank or the manway of a sanitary sewer, catch basin or other manhole system. The apparatus includes a lid, inflatable seal and pressurized tank contained within the lid to inflate the seal. When sealed to the access opening, the lid restricts the inflow of water or other debris into the interior of the underground duct and restricts removal of the lid.

The sump and lid are formed of a reinforced geomembrane material and include welds and are prefabricated in a location remote from an installation site of the underground water-storage vault more than two days prior to installation.
Conical wall riser with interleaved tab connectors
A plastic article useful as a riser assembly for a septic tank or as part of another structure is comprised of a multiplicity of identical shape conical wall plastic risers. The risers are attached to each other at joints by tabs which engage rim segments; each end of the riser has alternating tabs and rim segments. A riser assembly wall undulates in the lengthwise direction. The risers nest within each other for shipment or storage.
Grease interceptor system and method of installing a grease interceptor system
A grease interceptor system with a corrugated pipe stub that can be obtained and cut to size in the field during installation.
