CLOSURE ARRANGEMENT, METHOD FOR CLOSING A CLOSURE, BULK MATERIAL CONTAINER, DOCKING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CLOSING A DOCKING DEVICE
The invention relates to a seal assembly comprising: a seal for a bulk material container, having a ring-shaped connecting flange with a through opening and a first moving element; and a seal member for selectively sealing or opening the through opening. A container wall of the bulk material container can be attached to the connecting flange. The seal assembly also comprises a docking device having a housing, a second moving element, and a seal actuating device. In order to increase the tightness of the seal, one of the moving elements comprises a peripheral first stripping element, by means of which impurities are stripped from a surface of the connecting flange, in a closing process for sealing the though opening of the connecting flange.
Proppant discharge system having a container and the process for providing proppant to a well site
A proppant discharge system includes a container having an outlet formed at a bottom thereof, a gate affixed at the outlet and positioned on the floor of the container so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet to a second position opening the outlet, a support structure having the container positioned on the top surface thereof. The support structure has at least one actuator affixed thereto. The actuator is positioned so as to move the gate between the first position and the second position. The container has a cage affixed on the floor thereof in a position over the outlet. The gate is positioned within the cage and is movable by the actuator so as to open the gate so as to allow proppant to be discharged therefrom.
SEED STORAGE AND DISPENSING BIN
A seed storage and dispensing bin includes a walled container having a top, a bottom opposite the top, an interior space defined between the top and the bottom and a divider dividing the interior space into first and second separate spaces each sized to receive a plurality of seeds therein. First and second openings are defined in the walled container at or near the bottom thereof, with each opening to a respective one of the first and second spaces. First and second doors are mounted to the container over the first and second openings respectively. Means are provided for moving the first door between open and closed positions thereof, and for moving the second door between open and closed positions thereof. In some embodiments, the same or different cross-sectional areas of the first and second openings may be exposed through selective movement of the first and second doors respectively.
TANK PROVIDED WITH A HATCH AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE TANK
A tank for water has a bottom and a surrounding wall with an inside and an outside. In a lower portion, the wall is provided with a hatch casing positioned in a hatch opening extending through the wall for access by personnel from the outside to the inside of the tank. The hatch casing is provided with a hatch with an inside and an outside. The hatch in a closed position closes the hatch opening in a liquid-tight manner. The inside of the hatch is flush with the inside of the wall when the hatch is in the closed position. A method for giving personnel access to the tank through the hatch opening is also described.

TOP DOOR SYSTEM FOR A TOP-LOADABLE CARGO CONTAINER
An automated top door system is provided for selectively closing and opening a cargo container for top loading of cargo. The top door system includes: a door panel, a rotary actuator driven by a motor, and a coupling means connecting the door panel and the rotary actuator. The door panel is a self-supporting structural lightweight door panel, and the coupling means, which is a separate part or is part of said door panel, is configured to provide rotational movement of the door panel around a rotational axis of the rotary actuator, in response to the rotary movement provided by the rotary actuator, when in use. A top-loadable cargo container includes an automated top door system; and uses of the automated top door system in transport vehicles.
Receptacle and latching mechanism for receptacle gate
A receptacle is provided for holding a quantity of solid material. The receptacle includes a container having an open end, and a gate operably connected to the container so as to be rotatable to a closed position structured to prevent solid material from exiting the container through the open end. The gate includes a locking arm mounted thereon. A latching mechanism is operably connected to the container and includes a latch rotatable to a latched orientation structured to contact the locking arm to prevent the gate from being rotated out of the closed position. The locking arm is structured to move rearwardly and upwardly during rotation of the gate out of the closed position. The latch is structured so that contact between the latch and the locking arm when the latch is in the latched orientation prevents rearward and upward movement of the locking arm.
Methods and Systems for Remote Opening and Monitoring of an Access Hatch
A storage tank includes a floor, a roof, a sidewall extending between the floor and the roof, an access hatch provided on the roof and having a base, a lid pivotably coupled to the base, and a latch configured to secure the lid to the base in a closed position, and a system for remotely opening and closing the access hatch. The system includes an elongate arm having a proximal end operatively coupled to the lid, a pull cable attached to a distal end of the elongate arm and extending toward a ground adjacent the storage tank, and a latching cable attached to the latch and extending toward the ground adjacent the storage tank, wherein pulling on the latching cable when the lid is in the closed position actuates the latch to secure the lid to the base in the closed position.
Aircraft water tank and method for manufacturing same
In an aircraft water tank, a mouthpiece is attached to an inner liner, and an overflowing adhesive is received in an annular missing portion provided to an expanded portion of the mouthpiece through the gap between a skirt portion and the inner liner. Further, a sealant fills the part of the annular missing portion, which is exposed from an end of a plate portion for the expanded portion.
STRUCTURE ACCESS SYSTEM
A structure access system that allows a user at ground level to open and close a traditionally ladder-accessed entrance on the top of a structure like a silo through a pivotable lever-controlled linkage that includes elongate members joined by a rocker arm configured to translate vertical movement into angled movement to open and close the top entrance.
