Combined lid and strainer device for a paint container
A combined lid and strainer device for a paint container features an outer mounting rim configured for mated fitting onto a rim of the paint container. Within a central circular area surrounded by the rim, there is a perforated a straining area through which paint is pourable. A movable cover is selectively movable between a closed position overlying the perforated straining area, and open positions withdrawn therefrom to allow strained pouring of the paint therethrough. Raised features on the cover are used to secure the cover closed when the lidded container is placed in a paint shaker. A sealing membrane is used, at least initially, seal the perforated area in air-tight fashion to maintain paint freshness. Securement features are usable to secure the flap in both closed and open positions.
CONTAINER ORIFICE REDUCER WITH TAMPER EVIDENT SEAL
Containers with closures are disclosed. A closure may include at least a polymer orifice reducer configured to be permanently secured to a rim of an opening of a container and a flexible tamper evident seal disposed on the topside of the orifice reducer. The flexible tamper evident seal, optionally foil, covers one or more openings in the orifice reducer. Processes for permanently securing a closure to a container, optionally by forming a heat seal between the orifice reducer and container rim, are also disclosed.
ROTARY CLOSURE WITH LINER FOR A CONTAINER
The invention concerns a rotary closure especially for medication bottles, which has a rotary cap, in which a liner that closes the opening is provided. The liner has at least two layers, which contact each other along a contact surface; the upper layer initially lies in the rotary cap and is joined to it at least in the central part of the face and the lower layer is firmly joined to the annular face of the opening and the liner has a weakening line (4). In order to achieve simple and clean opening, it is prescribed that the weakening line (4) is closed and leads around the central part (3) of the face and that in the area of the contact surface within the weakening line (4) joining of the two layers is strong and outside the weakening line (4) it is not present or only weak.
