The invention relates to a closure device comprising:a lower ring (9) having a first portion (16) and a second portion (17), which are articulated relative to each other in such a way that the second portion (17) pivots relative to the first portion (16), a plug (1); and an articulating device that connects the plug (1) to the second portion (17) of the lower ring (9), the second portion (17) of the lower ring (9) having an inner face which has at least one recess (32).

Closing cap for a container

A closing cap for a container includes a separating line on a lateral wall forming a retaining ring, configured to remain anchored to a neck of the container and extending up to a free edge. A closing element is engageable with the neck, to open or close the container. The separating line is circumferentially interrupted to define in the lateral wall a joining zone, extending at a first angle, in which the retaining ring and the closing element are joined. An engagement element of the retaining ring is bent when the cap is closed. First and second incision lines allow deformability of a connecting portion and a region of the engagement element extending at a second angle, so that when first opening the closing element, the region goes beyond the locking ring and deforms to rest on the locking ring in an extended configuration.

Closure

A closure for a container is provided. The closure comprises a cap and a retaining ring arranged under the cap for retaining the closure on the container in use. The cap and ring are joined by a pair of connecting arms. A first arm is non-frangibly connected to the cap at a cap tether end and circumferentially anticlockwise therefrom is non-frangibly connected to the ring at a ring root end. A second arm is non-frangibly connected to the cap at a cap tether end and circumferentially clockwise therefrom is non-frangibly connected to the ring at a ring root end. The cap can be tilted away from the ring with the arms providing a hinge-like function, and each of the arms twists between its cap tether end and its ring root end, whereby tension is generated in the arms.

A capping device intended to be fixed to a neck of a container includes a lower ring, a cap, an articulation device that connects the cap and the lower ring, and a locking device configured to lock the cap when it is in a tilted open position. The locking device includes a stop protruding radially outwards and a protruding portion protruding axially from the lower ring. The stop and the protruding portion are configured in such a way that, when the cap is in the tilted open position, the stop abuts against the protruding portion, the portion protrusion having a radial thickness ?1 greater than a radial thickness ?2 of a first section of the lower ring outside some engaging zones.

Closure device for a container

A closure device for a container having a neck including an annular flange, the closure device comprising: a cap body; a tamper evident (TE) band positioned below the annular flange when assembled in the container; a first hinge and a second hinge defined on the cap body; a leash connected to the TE band, the first hinge and the second hinge; the leash allowing for the cap body to be separated from the TE band during opening, but to remain connected thereto via the leash; a tongue protruding from the cap body between the first and second hinges; when the cap body is actuated from a closed configuration relative to the neck to a fully open position: the leash is configured to retain the cap body to the TE band; an interaction of the tongue and the neck is configured to retain the cap body in the fully open position.

MULTIPART CLOSURE

A multi-part closure is proposed with a lower part having a flat support and a neck integrally arranged thereon. A screw cap is provided with a retaining ring and with a closure cap fastened to the retaining ring via a film hinge, the retaining ring being arranged at least partially between the support and a detent ring around the neck and being rotatably held by the detent ring. Further, the film hinge includes a first hinge member forming a portion of the retaining ring, and a second hinge member forming a portion of the closure cap. A three-portion hinge includes a center portion and two outer portions spaced from the center portion and connecting the first hinge member to the second hinge member. The at least two outer parts are designed to exert an at least partially increasing tensile force up to a limit angle during a rotation about a line of rotation and to exert an at least partially decreasing tensile force during a further rotation from this limit angle.

A materials containment canister comprising a lower cap with an upper thread, a body with multiple interior chambers and an upper cap with a lid, optional handle and orifice. The upper cap is capable of rotating to allow for the orifice to access individual chambers which can store materials.

Container lid having selectively coverable access opening

A lid is provided that includes an access opening in a top wall thereof selectively coverable by a pivotable cover. The lid attaches to a foodstuff container and provides access to an interior of the container. The lid achieves this without requiring removal of the lid while also providing an impeded foodstuff dispense path having greater control. The cover pivots between open and closed positions, and in one form, can be secured in one or both positions. This can be achieved by releasably securing the cover to the top wall to hold the cover in the closed position and/or capturing a tab of the cover within a depression in an edge portion of the lid to hold the cover in the open position. The cover can further be integrally attached to the lid so that the cover is generally coplanar with the top wall when in the closed position.

Package with tethered closure

A package includes a container and a closure. The container has an external thread formation on the neck portion and a circumferential bead. The closure includes a first and second closure portion. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a skirt portion, and first and second frangible connections. The first frangible connection extends around the closure circumference. The second frangible connection is spaced from the first frangible connection. At least a portion of the second frangible connection is located further from the top wall portion than a portion of the first frangible connection. The second frangible connection defines an area adapted to form a tab. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure is adapted to be opened by twisting to break the frangible connections and expose the tab and then flipping the first closure portion from the second closure portion via the exposed tab. The closure is adapted to be locked when flipped.
