Provided is a re-sealable container for storing, preserving, identifying, tracking and transporting a federally controlled substance having a child resistant and senior friendly lid, and a process for identifying and tracking federally controlled substances within the re-sealable containers. The re-sealable federally controlled substance containers include a two-piece child resistant and senior friendly lid and a 2-factor authentication identification tag, as well as a microchip for identifying the container controlled substance contents and tracking the container. Controlled substance contents within the re-sealable containers are optimized for long term storage by removal of the oxygen therein, and the containers and controlled substance contents can be readily identified, detected, tracked and traced after being filled with a federally controlled substance.

A stopper for a container providing evidence of first opening includes an upper part with a protection cap closable on a pouring element and a ridged lower part with an upper hollow cylindrical portion disposed inside the pouring element and a lower cylindrical portion of larger diameter that is internally threaded. A frangible label is positioned between the protection cap, and a security ring is connected with the upper and lower parts with frangible bridges. An annular security crown is connected to the lower part of the stopper by frangible bridges and a cam arrangement, coaxially coupled between an outer surface of the upper hollow cylindrical portion and an inner surface of the pouring element, causes their translation and rotation. A closure (10) for a container mouth, comprising a cap (15) and a retaining ring (20) for retaining the closure on a container mouth, a tether (45) is provided between the cap side wall and the retaining ring along the circumference of the cap, one end of the tether is fixedly connected to the side wall and the other end is fixedly connected to the retaining ring, in which the tether is connected to the cap by a root (30) and extends from the root in a clockwise direction.

A capsule includes a cap pivotally attached to a base by means of a hinge, and a tamper-evident device. The tamper-evident device includes a radial lug; an orifice for housing the lug, one contour of which is closed by a tongue, a first end of which is connected by a frangible bridge and a second end of which is connected by a flexible bridge, so that when the cap is opened for the first time, a retention face for retaining the lug hooks onto the tongue and causes the breakage of the frangible bridge and the pivoting of the tongue about the flexible bridge. The retention face for retaining the lug extends radially so that the tongue pivots about a radial axis.

A cap for a container comprises: a body, configured to be coupled and uncoupled relative to the neck of the container and including a side wall, which extends around a longitudinal axis, and a transverse wall; a tamper evident ring, configured to remain anchored to the neck of the container even when the body is uncoupled from the neck and including a joining portion where the tamper evident ring is joined to the body, the joining portion being configured to be torn along a full perimeter surrounding the longitudinal axis, wherein the cap comprises a connecting band having a first end connected to the side wall of the body and a second end connected to the retaining portion of the tamper evident ring.

A head stand container closure is provided. The closure comprises a base, and a lid having a top plate upon which the closure rests in use. The base is attachable to a container and the lid is attached or attachable to the base. The closure comprises an internal tamper-evident member comprising a part which is initially spaced from the lid top plate and upon first opening of the closure the part moves to or towards the top plate when the head is in a head down orientation.

A flip-top dispensing closure is provided. The closure includes a base and a lid. The base is attachable to a container neck and includes an integral spout. The lid includes a fixing ring and a cap. The fixing ring is attachable to the base and the cap is hingedly attached to the ring. The closure is provided with tamper-evident parts including first and second parts which are initially frangibly connected to each other within the lid, and upon first opening of the cap, the first and second parts are separated, one of the parts being retained by the cap and the other of the parts dropping onto the base.

The present invention regards a package for food products comprising a flexible container having a first wall and a second wall opposite each other and peripherally sealed along at least the respective side edges, a space inside said walls containing, optionally in sterile conditions, a food product, and a gusset element extended between the upper edges of said first wall and of said second wall, said gusset element defining a pocket turned towards the interior of said flexible container, characterized in that it comprises an opening and closing device housed in said pocket and constrained to said flexible container, said opening and closing device comprising a pourer body associated with an opening and closing cap, and cutting means suitable to perforate said flexible container at the time of the first opening of said packaging. The invention also regards a method for packaging a food product, in particular in sterile conditions, in a package of the aforesaid type, a flexible container for a package of the aforesaid type as well as a method for producing such container.

The closure defines a passage extending between an upper edge and a lower edge of the closure and located between an inner surface of the outer wall and an outer surface of the central wall. The closure includes a tamper-indicating band extending from the central wall. The spout includes a wall portion and a central channel extending through the wall portion between an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The spout includes a structure located below the inlet opening the first and second exterior surfaces are both angled toward the central axis of the spout.
