The scope of this invention was to create a container that could endure extreme hot temperatures when heated by microwave and endure extreme cold temperatures without cracking when shipped with dry ice. In addition, the container was ergonomically designed to encompass a snug fit to keep the food contained, but the top is easily detached even if the individual does not have full use of their hands. The container is multipurpose. There was not a container on the market that met these criteria, so extensive time was expended to design such a container to fit the needs of the company.

STORAGE CHEST WITH SECONDARY STORAGE COMPARTMENT

An example storage chest is provided. The example storage chest may include a box portion and a lid. The box portion may include a front wall, a rear wall, and a floor attached to the front and rear walls to form a primary compartment for storage of items. The lid may include a front panel, a rear panel, and a top panel attached to the front a rear panels. The rear panel may be pivotably coupled to the rear wall of the box portion. The front panel, the rear panel, and the top panel may define a secondary compartment within the lid for storage of items. The secondary compartment may include a lid storage compartment comprising a hingedly affixed door.

A foldable clamshell container is provided. The container may include a tray portion and a cover portion. The tray portion may include a front panel, rear panel, and side panels. The side panels may include triangular fold flaps on each end that are secured end flaps connected to the front and rear panels. The rear panel may have a height greater than the front and side panels and the cover portion may be foldably connected to an upper edge of the rear panel. The cover panel may include a cover panel, a front panel, and cover side panels with a triangular fold flap. The rear end flaps of the tray portion and the cover side panels may each include a curved edge portion. The container may be configured to transition between a folded-flattened configuration and an unfolded configuration by folding the triangular fold flaps of the tray and cover portions.

A container cover for storage container includes a rotary device, an outer cover member, an inner cover member, a first guide block, second guide block, a pumping piston and a piston seat so arranged that when the rotary device is driven by a user to rotate the first guide block, guide rods of the first guide block are moved along a first continuous wave-shaped track of the second guide block, causing the second guide block and the pumping piston to move alternatively up and to further pump air out of the storage container through an air-pimping hole of the piston seat to create a negative pressure. Further, a first spring member an upper rail seat can be provided to balance the movement of the pumping piston and to stabilize the rotation of the first and second guide blocks. A relief valve rod can be selectively used for giving a visual indication indicative of the presence of a negative pressure in the storage container.

Receptacle and cover

Systems, methods and apparatuses for covering a storage compartment of a receptacle, reducing exposure of items inside the receptacle to the surrounding environment and decreasing the risk of damage or undesirable impacts on the products being transported. The covered receptacle systems, methods and apparatuses not only provide a physical barrier over the exposed opening of the receptacle's storage compartment, but further passively facilitate the removal of the environmental hazards from the receptacle cover, leading the environmental hazard in a direction away from the receptacle. The removal of environmental hazards may be performed by directing the hazard in a direction away from the storage compartment of the receptacle via a downwardly sloping top surface of the receptacle cover.

Liquid Container Lid Assembly and Method

A lid assembly includes a lid body and a lid body insert. The lid body includes an insert-receiving depression and a channel-guiding protuberance. The channel-guiding protuberance is formed at an upper depression surface of the insert-receiving depression. The insert-receiving depression is outfitted with a primary liquid outlet for enabling liquid egression therethrough. The lid body insert is receivable in the insert-receiving depression and includes a protuberance-receiving channel and a secondary liquid outlet. The protuberance-receiving channel receives the channel-guiding protuberance when the lid body insert is received in the insert-receiving depression. The lid body insert is rotatable intermediate first and second closed lid positions. The secondary liquid outlet is positionable in superior adjacency to the primary liquid outlet when in an open lid position for enabling liquid egression via both the primary and secondary liquid outlets. A lid assembly system and associated methodology is further contemplated.

A lid assembly outfits a liquid container and may function to position a liquid-permeable container relative to the liquid container. The lid assembly may include a lid body having a rim-receiving groove, an object-supportive depression, and a primary liquid-letting aperture. The primary liquid-letting aperture primarily enables liquid egression from the liquid container. The object-supportive depression supports objects and defines a tertiary liquid-letting aperture for outletting liquid into the liquid container. A lid body insert may be received and supported by the lid body in superior adjacency to the object-supportive depression and has a secondary liquid-letting aperture and an insert axis. The lid body insert is rotatable about the insert axis intermediate open and closed lid positions such that the secondary liquid-letting aperture is rotatably positionable either in superior or lateral adjacency to the primary liquid-letting aperture for selectively opening and closing the lid assembly.

Negative pressure storage container

A negative pressure storage container includes a container cover, a container body, a rotary device, a gear transmission mechanism and a vacuum pump so arranged that rotating the rotary device drives a driving gear of a transmission gear set of the gear transmission mechanism to rotate an eccentric wheel, causing a link to reciprocate a reciprocating piston of a vacuum pump in creating a negative pressure in the container body. When the negative pressure reaches a certain level, the bottom wall of a plastic inner cover member of the container cover is forced to curve and to carry the driving gear away from the rotary device; at this time, and thus, the rotary device runs idle at this time, preventing overloading the transmission gear set and prolonging the service life of the gear transmission mechanism.
