ELASTOMER LINED SELF-LOCKING TIE
An elastomer lined self-locking tie includes an elongated strap, at least one cavity or recess in the elongated strap, an elastomer segment, and a locking head. The elongated strap includes a head end positioned opposite a tapered end. The tapered end includes a first surface positioned opposite a second surface. The cavity is positioned in either the first surface or the second surface. The elastomer segment is positioned within the cavity and extends beyond either the first surface or the second surface. The locking head extends from the head end of the elongated strap and includes an orifice shaped to receive the tapered end of the elongated strap and the elastomer segment.
REMOVEABLE BAND FOR STACK OF DISPOSABLE CUTLERY
A removeable band for confining a stack of cutlery pieces. The band can include a body having a first surface and a second surface that oppose one another, the body being an elongated strip of fiber-based material. A coating can be disposed on at least a portion of the first surface of the body, and an adhesive section can be disposed on at least a portion of the coating. The adhesive section can be configured to adhere to the second surface of the body when a first end and a second end of the body at least partially overlap to form a continuous band.
Cable tie
A cable tie includes a belt, a head connected to the belt and having a passageway for receiving the belt, and a lock disposed in the head. The lock is displaceable parallel to a plane of the passageway along a stroke and has a protrusion configured to lock the belt.
Packaging System with Opening for Product Access
A packaging system and method for an article includes a strap having an elongate shape and being made from a flexible material, and container having an opening. The container defines a space. In a packaged configuration, first and second ends of the strap are connected to one another to form a loop, the article is folded in a bundle and disposed within the space in the container, and the loop extends through a portion of the bundle and two slits formed in the container to secure the article into the container.
TIE WRAP CONNECTOR AND STRAP KIT
A connector to be used with a strap for wrapping an object. The strap is detached from the connector and has first and second extremities. The connector comprises: a first passage adapted to insert and to lock the first extremity of the strap therein; a second passage having an entrance adapted to insert the second extremity of the strap therein and to prevent the strap from travelling toward the entrance upon insertion; a body having a first section with the first passage and a second section with the second passage, wherein the first section comprises a vertical wall and the second section comprises a vertical wall distinct from and facing the vertical wall of the first section; and a bridge joining the first and second sections of the body by extending between the vertical wall of the first section and the vertical wall of the second section.
Antimicrobial cable tie
Cable ties including an antimicrobial component and optionally a detectable component are disclosed. More particularly, cable ties including a composition having a base plastic, an antimicrobial additive and optionally a detectable additive selected from a detectable metal additive, an X-ray detectable additive and combinations thereof as well as methods of making the same are disclosed. Also, cable ties including an antimicrobial metallic barb and a composition having a base plastic and optionally an antimicrobial additive and/or a detectable additive selected from a detectable metal additive, an X-ray detectable additive and combinations thereof are disclosed.
Tie wrap connector and strap kit
A connector to be used with straps of variable lengths comprises a body and two locking blades. The connector comprises a first passage and a second passage distant from the first passage that extends throughout the body along a direction perpendicular to the first passage. The passages house the locking blades. The passages comprise an entrance and an abutment wall. The second passage also comprises an exit. The entrances are for the insertion of an extremity of a strap, with the sloped locking blades preventing exit of the extremities of the strap through the entrances by blocking a portion of the strap between themselves and an abutment wall. An extremity of the strap can exit out of the connector through the exit of the second passage to be pulled to tighten the strap. Kits comprising the herein connectors are also described.
