Transport and storage system
The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and, in particular, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletized goods and self-standing goods. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably horizontally, vertically and offset stacked, despite different sizes of goods and support members therefor, such as pallets, whereby wasted volumes arising from the presence of irregular loads, pallets or pallets of different levels or different load ratings in storage and transport can be minimized.
A Transport and Storage System
The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and in particular, but not necessarily restricted thereto, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletised goods and self-standing goods.
Door assembly packaging
A door packing assembly can include a pallet having a plurality of frames positioned thereon. The plurality of frames define an interior area, and a plurality of doors are positioned onto the pallet within the interior area defined by the plurality of frames. In further instances, a door container component can be positioned onto the pallet and the plurality of doors can be positioned within the door container component. In this way, the door container component can have a perimeter surrounded by at least some of the plurality of frames.
Pallet with skirt
A skirt system for use with a pallet carrying goods is provided. The skirt system includes a rectangular support pad that is positioned on a stack of pallets and a skirt having a rectangular opening. The skirt interacts with features on the support pad for quick and easy set up. The skirt covers the stack of pallets which supports goods and provides a visually pleasing display for such goods.
TRAY AND PACKING APPARATUS
A tray includes: an outer sheet made of a cardboard sheet; at least one intermediate sheet wrapped in the outer sheet, each intermediate sheet being made of a cardboard sheet; and fastening means. The outer sheet includes: a bottom wall; a first lateral wall connected to the bottom wall by a first fold line; a second lateral wall connected to the bottom wall by a second fold line; a first upper wall connected to the first lateral wall by a third fold line parallel to the first fold line; and a second upper wall connected to the second lateral wall by a fourth fold line parallel to the second fold line. The fastening means fastens the first upper wall and the second upper wall.
Appliance packaging system and method
A unit package (10) is utilized to hold an appliance (12) such as a microwave oven. The unit package may include an impact absorbing base (14) which supports the appliance. A transparent flexible liner (40) extends in surrounding relation of the appliance. A plurality of straps (44) including respective flexible loops (46) which serve as handles, extend in surrounding relation of the liner, the appliance and the base. A plurality of unit packages are arrangeable in a stack for transport including layers of rows in supported connection with a pallet (52). A sleeve (64) extends in surrounding relation of the stack. Frangible adhesive strips (84, 86) enable opening the sleeve to expose the unit packages.
METHOD OF PRODUCING PACKING BODY
A method of producing a packing body includes the steps of: stacking a plurality of packaging bodies, placing reinforcing sheet materials so as to wrap outer peripheries of side surfaces of the packaging bodies that have been stacked, and fastening the packaging bodies that have been stacked by placing a fastening band from an outer side of the reinforcing sheet materials. The placing step includes placing the reinforcing sheet materials on the side surfaces of the packaging bodies to protrude an end portions of the reinforcing sheet material from an upper surface of a packaging body in an uppermost layer and from a lower surface of a packaging body in a lowermost layer. The fastening step includes bending the end portions, covering an edge portion of each packaging body, and placing the fastening band on the edge portions with the reinforcing sheet materials interposed therebetween.
PALLET WITH SKIRT
The invention is directed to a skirt system for use with a pallet carrying goods. The skirt interacts with features on a support pad for quick and easy set up. The skirt is used to cover a stack of pallets supporting the goods and provide a visually pleasing display for such products.
ONE PIECE CONTAINER
A container comprising a first side-panel section separated from a second side-panel section. Each of the first and second side-panel sections includes a side portion fold line extending laterally across the side-panel sections, such that each side-panel section presents two side portions. Furthermore, the container includes a pair of end flaps extending along lateral edges of the first and second side-panel sections and separated from the side-panel sections via primary fold lines, with the end flaps operable to connect the first and second side-panel sections together. The container is configured to be erected from a knockdown configuration by folding together the first side-panel section and the second side-panel section, and extending the first side-panel section and the second side-panel section away from each other such that the container forms a rectangular perimeter.
