The present invention provides a pallet frame of a unitary body of a molded pulp material having a first surface, a second surface opposed to the first surface, and a generally polygonal shaped peripheral wall. The peripheral wall has four corners, and a first pair of legs and a second pair of legs extending away from the first surface. The first pair of legs being positioned at two corners of the four corners, and the second pair of legs being positioned at another two corners of the four corners. The first pair of legs having a first end surface with a centrally disposed upstanding boss. The second pair of legs having a second end surface with a centrally disposed detent dimensioned to receive a boss when a pair of like pallet frames are in a deployed condition.

PALLET AND PANEL STORAGE SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
20240092530 · 2024-03-21 ·

Disclosed are systems, apparatus and methods for transporting a palletized stack of bottles or other similar bulk-produced containers using a unique pallet base and a unique set of side panels that may be engaged with the base and with each other in order to protect the stacks of bottles on the pallet base during shipping and transport. Embodiments of the invention dampen vibrations, protect the bottles from exterior contaminants, and allow the bottles to be viewed from the outside. Embodiments of the invention also provide reusable pallet systems that are easy to assemble and disassemble, and ship back for reuse.

Systems for compensating for atmospheric pressure changes for high-altitude transport of packages containing powdered and/or granular materials
11919696 · 2024-03-05 · ·

A system for compensating for atmospheric pressure changes for high-altitude transport of packages containing powdered and/or granular material may include: one or more packages including a one-way degassing valve configured to flow gaseous substances produced by the powdered and/or granular material outside the one or more packages. Each package may include: a casing; and a containment element configured to wrap the casing. The casing may include: a main body made of expandable material; a capping device associated with the main body; and an insertion opening in the main body. The capping device may include: a tubular sleeve including a first coupling and a bottom wall; a closure element including a second coupling; and first and second one-way valves associated with the bottom wall. The first one-way valve can be configured to allow insertion of gases. The second one-way valve can be configured to allow outflow of gases.

Milk crate stabilizer

A milk crate stabilizer system is described. The stabilizer system may include at least one row of milk crates, each milk crate comprising a floor, four sidewalls extending from the floor and defining an interior, and an open top, and a milk crate stabilizer comprising a plate located above the at least one row of milk crates, and a plurality of groups of four pegs extending downwardly from the plate. The pegs may contact the sidewalls of adjacent milk crates and removably join the adjacent milk crates. The bottoms of the pegs may be narrower than the tops of the pegs to facilitate placement into the corners of the milk crates.

Method and apparatus for keeping insects out of shipment loads
10479583 · 2019-11-19 · ·

An apparatus and method for storing and transporting a load (12) of goods, having been treated or fumigated for insects. The apparatus comprises a bag (10) and a sealing means (14) that seals bag once load (12) is inserted. All or a portion of bag 10 is made with netting, screen, or other porous material (13) that keep insects out of bag (10) but allow for sufficient ventilation of load (12). Bag (10) may be a single piece or multiple pieces and the location of porous material (13) on bag (10) may vary depending on the type of goods contained in load (12). The apparatus may also contain securement means (24) that help hold load (12) in place. The method comprises loading, sealing, transporting, and unloading goods using the described apparatus.

Container of a fluid substance and a transport system therefor

A fluid container in the form of a can having a neck defining an opening, and fastened in a water-tight manner to the neck a valve element with a valve cup supporting a hollow stem movable against an elastic element between a first stable closing position and a second unstable position for delivering fluid through a cavity in the stem, the cavity communicating with the interior of the can in a dispensing position, the can being fixed to a support base of the container, the base comprising a support surface with a recess defined by a first centering surface to center the container on a valve cup of an identical container, on top of which the container may be placed, a second support surface for supporting the container on the valve cup, and a third recessed surface to house the stem of an aerosol valve of the further container.
