A system for moving and transporting cargo, such as bundled cores and tubes, that doesn't require wheeled carts. The system may comprise a forklift truck, a front engagement device connecting the cargo to the forklift truck, a rear roller unit, and one or more spaced apart bottom supports. When the forklift forks are in the raised position, the cargo front (leading) end is tilted above the cargo rear (trailing) end and the bottom supports are disengaged from the floor, allowing the cargo to be moved.

Disclosed is a stacking element for shipping or storing, in which products are stored in stacked layers, each layer including a batch of products, the stacking unit including a plurality of trays one above the other, the sizes of the trays being compatible with the dimensions of a standard shipping pallet. Each tray has a rectangular base on which products can stand, as well as side walls, extending from the perimeter of the base and perpendicular to it, and at least one wall works as a door which can be opened for allowing side introduction of the products in the tray, or closed. A winding assembly (16) comprises a ratchet spool (59) rotatable about a principal axis (61). The ratchet spool (59) has a main part (20) and a plurality of ratchet teeth (60) arranged circumferentially around the main part (20). The winding assembly (16) also has a tensioning arrangement (37) for tensioning an elongate article (10). The winding assembly (16) further includes a drive arrangement (18) to engage the ratchet teeth (60) of the ratchet spool (59) and rotate the ratchet spool (59) in a driving direction about said principal axis (61) to apply tension to the elongate article (10). A tension limitation member (53) is provided between the ratchet spool (59) and the tensioning arrangement (37) to limit the tension applied to the elongate article (10).

A wrapping apparatus for pallets is a sturdy plastic wrap for securing products on pallets that has criss-crossed straps with tightening devices that are operated using a cordless drill. The ends of the straps have hooks that attach to the corners of the pallet. As the disc shaped tighteners are turned clockwise, the straps are shortened tightening the straps and therefore tightening the plastic wrap over the cargo.

A transport rack and/or storage rack for standing transport and/or standing storage of plate-shaped goods, such as windows or doors, includes at least two support elements. A standing strip is arranged on a first end of each of the support elements and is removably fastenable, resting on a floor plate. The support elements are connected to each other by at least one crossbar placed on the support elements and the standing strip is aligned perpendicularly to the crossbar. The support elements are single or multi-part plates, having two leaning edges approaching each other at an acute angle away from a base side arranged on the standing strip.

A cooperative packaging system includes a base package, a first member, a second member, and a third member. The base package includes a first side and a second side. The second side is contiguous with the first side. The first member covers a portion of the first side of the base package. The second member covers the second side of the base package. The third member covers the first member and a portion of the second member. The first member and the second member are configured to mitigate impacts sustained by the cooperative packaging system prior to the impacts being transferred to the base package.

A modular packing system includes a pallet exhibiting a continuous and unperforated support surface affording a plurality of seating features distributed thereon, a plurality of containers of base measurements as submultiples of the pallet dimensions and constant height so as to form even layers of uniform height, and an uppermost cover element for positioning on top of a final layer of containers and equipped with a first pair of belts engageable to corresponding belt portions which, in turn, engage with a second pair of belts associated to the pallet. Each container exhibits a lower base surface affording raised features configured to engage in seating features in the pallet support surface. Each container further exhibits a cover element exhibiting a plurality of seating features, analogous in conformation and positioning to the seating features in the pallet support surface, so as to form another support and engagement surface for a subsequent layer.
