Counter-weighted dumpster lid
A dumpster lid assembly for use on an opening of a dumpster is provided. The dumpster lid assembly includes at least one dumpster lid having a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be moved with respect to the at least one dumpster lid. At least one weight is located at least adjacent the second end and distal from the first end of the at least one dumpster lid.
Subsurface system for the collection of refuse
The present invention describes a subsurface refuse system for side loading collection. It comprises an underground bunker (4), a refuse container (installed with lateral movable arms, a deposit input bin, one internal platform that supports temporarily the container and a cover with automatic opening and closing. All the movements are remotely operated. The container translates and is collected only with an automated side loading lifter installed in the truck.
CONTAINER HANDLING APPARATUSES FOR REFUSE TRUCKS
A cargo body of a refuse truck includes a support frame and a bed having a storage volume supported by the support frame. A container handling apparatus includes a primary lift arm for lifting a container lift platform using an actuation system. The primary lift arm is pivotally connected to the support frame at a pivot location between the support frame and the primary lift arm. The actuation system includes a hydraulic cylinder including an actuation rod that is used to move the primary lift arm between raised and lowered positions. A clevis member is connected at an end of the actuation rod. The clevis member has an arm link connection portion that pivotally connects to an arm linkage at a pivot location between the clevis member and the arm linkage and a traveler portion including a traveler member that moves along a guide track as the actuation rod is extended and retracted. The pivot location between the clevis member and the arm linkage is offset from the traveler member.
Double-Walled Waste Container
The double-walled waste container provides an open-top roll-off container being rectangular in shape and having latching door portions at one (1) end. The container employs a double wall construction to minimize damage, improve strength, and reduce weight. Additionally, the container provides a plurality of drain apertures which extend a full length of the container to drain off accumulated liquids and to prevent corrosion of the container.
Front load refuse container and lift pocket assembly
A front load refuse container made according to this invention has its four walls integrally formed out of a single piece of sheet metal. To form the walls, the single sheet is welded along a single vertical seam to form a circular-shaped ring. The circular-shaped ring is subjected to a swaging process that produces a rectangular-shaped ring with rounded corners. The container includes a lift pocket, formed from a single sheet, that defines half-hexagon-shaped prong receiving channel.
WASTE COLLECTION CONTAINER WITH WATER SEPARATION RESERVOIR
A waste collection container has vertical walls extending up from a horizontal base and a raised floor supported on a ledge above the base to define a primary collection chamber above the raised floor and a liquid collection reservoir between the base and the raised floor. The top surface of the raised floor is sloped downwardly from the outer periphery to a central elongate grate to direct rain water and other liquid in the primary collection chamber to the grate and into the lower liquid collection chamber. When the waste collection container is inverted to dump the collected waste into a truck, water and other liquid remains trapped in the lower reservoir, thereby reducing the load weight of the truck. One or more drain holes near the base of the container allow the liquid to be drained out of the liquid collection reservoir.
SYSTEMS FOR DETECTING AND PICKING UP A WASTE RECEPTACLE
An intermediate container system for detecting a waste receptacle includes an intermediate container and a processor. The intermediate container includes a container, an extension arm coupled to the container, a manipulator coupled to a distal end of the extension arm, and a camera configured to obtain image data associated with a target area proximate the intermediate container. The processor is configured to generate, based on the image data, a pose candidate located within the target area. The processor is also configured to verify if the pose candidate matches a template representation corresponding to the waste receptacle. Responsive to the pose candidate matching the template representation, the processor is also configured to determine a location of the waste receptacle. The processor is also configured to operate at least one of the extension arm or the manipulator to move the manipulator based on the location of the waste receptacle.
TOPPLESS TRASH CAN
A trash container with a shade closure includes a trash can base including an internal cavity and track grooves located internally along sides of an opening of the cavity and the shade closure including a flexible material and a pin connected to an end of the material, with ends of the pin projecting from sides of the shade and with the ends being configured to fit within the track grooves. The container further includes a shade spool portion located along a back edge of the opening and attached to the shade closure comprising a rotational spring configured to rotate the shade closure around the shade spool portion into a spooled configuration and a latch device located along a front edge of the opening and configured to releasably lock the shade into a planar configuration when the pin of the shade closure is pulled out away from the shade spool portion.
LID SYSTEM FOR A FRONT LOAD DUMPSTER
A lid system for a front load dumpster is provided. The lid system provides a container assembly, an upper frame assembly having a curved lid, and a lower frame assembly, wherein the container assembly may rotate relative to the lower frame assembly and the upper frame assembly in a forward direction and an opposing rearward direction, while the upper frame assembly may rotate relative to the lower frame assembly only in the rearward direction so that the curved lid opens during dumping when the container assembly is in an upended condition, but the upper frame assembly and its curved lid may remain locked in a closed configuration when the container assembly is in an upright condition, before and after the dumping.
CANTILEVERED DUMPER SYSTEM
A cantilevered dumping system comprising a dumping mechanism that is adapted to be repositioned (e.g., reversed) relative to a base structure such that there may be multiple modes of operation of the dumping mechanism relative to the base structure (e.g., loading of materials and/or movement of the dumping mechanism, etc.). An exemplary embodiment of a dumping system may allow for the connections of a dumping mechanism to a base structure to be changed (e.g., reversed) such that the operation of the dumping mechanism relative to the base structure (e.g., loading of materials and/or movement of the dumping mechanism, etc.) is different. Another embodiment of a dumping system may include a base structure that includes multiple guide plates and/or guide rails to facilitate the desired modes of operation of a dumping mechanism relative to the base structure (e.g., loading of materials and/or movement of the dumping mechanism, etc.).
