Angle adjustment mechanism for a conveyor bed

A conveyor bed is provided that can include a conveyor frame, a roller frame and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism can include a first wheel movable on a first rail and a second wheel movable on a second rail. A sled can be coupled to a bottom face of the roller frame, where an inner face of the sled is in contact with the first wheel and the first rail and an outer face of the sled is in contact with the second wheel and the second rail. An actuable component coupled to the sled, wherein the actuable component is configured to move the sled back and forth linearly along the first rail using the first wheel in response to rotation of the actuable component, wherein a movement of the sled rotates the second wheel and pivots the second rail to alter an angle of the roller frame.

A roller track includes a base, parallel guides, roller support bars placed into their respective guides, and a plurality of rollers removably disposed between the roller support bars. The roller support bars preferably are removably secured to the base via the respective guides which are affixed to the base. The base also can be provided with connecting elements sidewalls thereof such that a plurality of bases of roller tracks can be connected laterally to accommodate any width of shelf or display planogram. Thus, the roller tracks can be used either separately roller tracks or as a continuous mat (i.e. a plurality of roller tracks affixed to adjacent roller tracks). Additionally, dividers can be removably affixed to each roller track via securing members comprising an upper body portion formed via a living hinge and at least one lower connector that removably connects the securing member to the roller track.

A folding wing for a conveyor is disclosed that can extend to facilitate sorting of items and providing additional space for docking locations. A first and second section each have a conveyor surface; and are coupled with a reverse-knee joint such that, in a folded configuration the conveyor surface of the first section and the conveyor surface of the second section are adjacent, and in an unfolded configuration, the first section conveyor surface and the second section conveyor surface form a contiguous conveyor surface. In some examples, the frame may be made of aluminum, and the rollers made of PVC, in order to reduce weight. In some examples, the folding section may measure approximately two feet by two feet. The folding assembly may drop down for even more space savings, when not in use, and be supported in an extended configuration with a second reverse knee joint.
