A belt cleaner assembly is provided for cleaning a conveyor belt. The belt cleaner assembly includes an elongate support member for extending longitudinally across a conveyor belt. The belt cleaner assembly further includes a cartridge for supporting at least one scraper blade thereon. The cartridge is slidable over the support member. The belt cleaner assembly further includes slide blocks between the support member and the cartridge to space facing surfaces of the cartridge and the support member from each other.

A front facing air inlet slot is in a front side of the hopper body at the upper end and is fluidly coupled to the carry-back inlet. The carry-back removing device is mounted in the suction hopper inlet and comprises at least one contact member extending upwardly out of the carry-back inlet.

An apparatus for cleaning a conveyor belt comprises a suction hopper and a carry-back removing device. The suction hopper comprises a tapering hollow body having a wider upper end and a narrower lower end. The upper end comprises a lip surrounding an upwardly facing carry-back inlet. A conveyor belt scraper blade includes a scraper layer supported by a support unit. The support unit has a base and at least two support fingers projecting side-by-side from the base. The fingers are arranged to flex to and from contact with a conveyor belt so as to optimise the lifetime of the scraper and minimise damage to the belt.

A system for recovering paint and cleaning in a painting machine having a conveying band for conveying panels to be painted includes a paint recovery unit for paint recovery having a reverse roller in contact with the conveying band, recovering paint sprayed on the conveying band, and a doctor blade scraping the reverse roller to recover paint for successive channelling to a tank; a cleaning unit having a cleaning roller, a drying blade, and an idle roller; a paint recovery unit provided as an independent unit; and a cleaning unit for the conveying band provided as an independent unit.

A system for recovering paint and cleaning in a painting machine having a conveying band for conveying panels to be painted includes a paint recovery unit for paint recovery having a reverse roller in contact with the conveying band, recovering paint sprayed on the conveying band, and a doctor blade scraping the reverse roller to recover paint for successive channelling to a tank; a cleaning unit having a cleaning roller, a drying blade, and an idle roller; a paint recovery unit provided as an independent unit; and a cleaning unit for the conveying band provided as an independent unit.
