APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING ARTICLES OF THE FISH AND MEAT PROCESSING INDUSTRY TO A PREDETERMINED END POSITION

An apparatus and method, configured for transferring articles of the fish and meat processing industry in a predetermined end position, including a continuous conveying device with a plurality of transport sections for individually receiving the articles and movable in the conveying direction, which transport sections comprise in the conveying position a transport element pair forming two article support surfaces. Each transport element is configured to be controllably pivotable about axles, running in the edge region of the respective transport section, so that the articles (10) are transferred to the predetermined end position, under the effect of gravity, in a plane lying below the conveying plane by controlled pivoting of both transport elements while retaining the article orientation or by controlled pivoting of one of the respective transport elements of one of the respective transport element pairs while changing the article orientation.

Conveyor transfer guards

In one aspect, a transfer guard member having a body for being positioned in a gap intermediate conveying surfaces, an upper portion of the body for spanning the gap and outer portions of the upper body for slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces, and a pair of spaced, resilient legs having distal end portions for resiliently and slidingly engaging the conveying surfaces. In another aspect, a transfer guard member having a body and at least one attachment member of the body configured for being detachably fixed to a mounting bar. The body has at least one recess adjacent the attachment member for receiving at least one attachment member of another transfer guard member fixed to the mounting bar so that upper transfer surfaces of the attachment members are adjacent one another.

Provided is a device for transferring products in a longitudinal direction of movement from upstream to downstream, having a transfer region and a structure supporting the transfer region. The structure has at least two parallel and contiguous rows of rollers mounted in rotation so as to be aligned along transverse axes, including a first row of first rollers and an adjacent second row of second rollers. The transfer region is inclined with a slope decreasing longitudinally. The rollers have bearings mounted in rotation about the axes and the first rollers of the first row are mounted in staggered fashion with respect to the second rollers of the second row, forming a generally planar transfer face. Also provided is conveying installation equipped with the transfer device.

Belt conveyor capable of conveying oilseed products

A belt and a belt conveyor are provided for transporting particulate material and especially oilseeds up the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor can include an intake end having a hopper, a discharge end, a body extending between the intake end and the discharge end and a belt. The belt travels along a travel path in the belt conveyor; the belt traveling through the hopper, up an upper run in the body to the discharge end, down a return run in the body, and back through the hopper. The belt can have a top surface having pairs of adjacent ridges provided on the top surface, each ridge having a pair of arms extending from a point, in a travel direction of the belt, wherein each pair of adjacent ridges define a v-channel on the top surface of the belt.

CONVEYANCE DEVICE, DRYING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS

A conveyance device includes a conveyance member, a guide, and a rotator. The conveyance member has a conveyance surface with a joint, the conveyance member to convey an object to be conveyed, with the object on the conveyance surface. The guide approaches the conveyance surface and guides the object from or to the conveyance member. The rotator contacts the conveyance surface. The guide displaces in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance surface, in conjunction with displacement of the rotator when the rotator contacts the joint.
