BOOM CONVEYOR
A boom conveyor apparatus includes a boom that carries a conveyor, a support structure for the boom, a rear pivot joint that connects a rear end of the boom to the support structure, and a pivot drive that controls pivoting movement of the boom about the rear pivot joint. The boom conveyor apparatus includes an operator platform and an attachment mechanism at a front end of the boom whereby the operator platform may be attached to the boom or detached therefrom. The attachment mechanism includes a levelling mechanism that is configured to apply a levelling adjustment to the operator platform.
LIFTING DEVICE
A lifting device includes: a lifting mechanism configured to move up and down a placement portion on which a conveyed object is placed; a distance sensor configured to output a detection signal indicating a distance to a surface to be detected of a moving object in a state of being located above the surface; a support member configured to support the distance sensor; a movement mechanism configured to move at least a part of the support member between a measurement position where the distance sensor is located and a retraction position where the distance sensor and the support member are deviated from above the moving object; and a lifting controller configured to control the lifting mechanism such that the placement portion is aligned with the moving object at a position where the conveyed object is allowed to be transferred in a lateral direction based on the detection signal.

Dock-Lift Trailer
A highway towable dock-lift trailer for use in loading and/or unloading trucks, rail cars, containers, etc., for example, in any location and across all industries and applications, and can include a tow bar that allows the trailer be towed to a desirable position or location. When the tow bar is removed from the trailer or repositioned relative to the frame, either a truck can back into position or the trailer lift can be positioned against the truck, etc., and the trailer lift is then ready to load and/or offload the truck. As an operator elevates the loading platform of the trailer, via hydraulic lifting means, for example, the lift can move up to truck height and hydraulically operated lifting arms can operate opposed automatic folding ramps, which simultaneously can open for load distribution and close for safety. The trailer can include a bridge that extends from the platform to a towing vehicle and/or a steerable motive force mechanism to allow maneuvering of the trailer when not coupled to a towing vehicle.

Gangway having self-raising assembly
A raising assembly for use with a gangway connected for rotation between a raised stowed position and a lowered deployed position. The raising assembly comprises at least one fluid actuated cylinder connected to the gangway. A raising actuator is operative to cause operation of the cylinder in a manner that rotates the gangway toward the stowed position while the raising actuator is continuously activated by an operator. A lowering actuator is operative to cause operation of the cylinder in a manner that rotates the gangway toward the deployed position due to gravitational forces while the lowering actuator is continuously activated by the operator. The raising assembly is configured to maintain the gangway at a current position between the stowed position and the deployed position if the operator does one of ceasing to activate the raising actuator while raising the gangway or ceasing to activate the lowering actuator while lowering the gangway.

Inventory Storage Module Having A Conveying Loop with Vertical Lift
In one embodiment, an inventory storage module has a first conveyor segment, a second conveyor segment spaced below the first conveyor segment, a first vertical lift disposed at a first end of the module, and a second vertical lift disposed at a second end of the module. The first and second lifts each transfer inventory carriers between the first and second conveyor segments. The first conveyor segment, the second conveyor segment, the first vertical lift, and the second vertical lift together define a conveying loop in a vertical plane, and the storage module translates inventory carriers around the conveying loop until a desired one of the inventory carriers is presented at one of the first and second module ends. An inventory item can be retrieved from, or stowed in, the desired one of the inventory carriers at the one of the first and second module ends.

Portable lift apparatus for shipping containers
A portable lift assembly that is temporarily mountable to the ends of standardized shipping containers, that allows cargo to be loaded and unloaded without a raised loading dock. The assembly includes a frame having pin members that engage standard corner castings on the access end of a shipping container so that the weight of the lift assembly and cargo are borne by the end of the container. Cargo is raised and lowered on a platform, with power being supplied from onboard the portable assembly. The portable assembly may be transported between containers and installed using a forklift or similar machine.
