Ambulance cot and loading and unloading system
An ambulance cot and cot loading and unloading system for an emergency vehicle comprises a cot having a head end, a base for mounting to a deck of an emergency vehicle, a track mounted for linear movement along said base, and an arm mounted for linear movement along said track from a retracted position to an extended position. The arm is and configured to engage the cot, and wherein when the track is extended along the base and the arm is extended along the track the arm is extended from the base in an extended position and is configured for lifting the cot and providing cantilevered support to the cot while in the extended position.
FEEDING DEVICE FOR FEEDING PRODUCTS ONTO A CONVEYOR BELT
A feeding device for feeding products from a storage container on to a conveyor belt moving in a conveyor direction is provided wherein a feeding belt at a storage container opening on a lower side of the storage container receives products to be conveyed and transports them to an upper side of the conveyor belt, in order to deliver the products on to the conveyor belt in a feeding region on the upper side of the conveyor belt, the feeding belt has a number of holes, the dimensions of which are adapted to the products to be conveyed such that a respective product can fall through an associated hole. A guiding element extending from the storage container opening to the feeding region on the upper side of the conveyor belt, including a guiding surface arranged directly below the feeding belt, is arranged on a lower side of the feeding belt in such a way that the guiding surface prevents the products from falling through the holes of the feeding belt until the products are delivered on to the upper side of the conveyor belt in the feeding region. The holes are arranged in the feeding belt in a matrix shape. The guiding surface of the guiding element forms a low-friction and abrasion-resistant flat sliding surface.
Pallet building system
An automated palletizer includes an automated package pick device capable of moving packages from a package deposit section to a pallet to form a pallet load from packages, a controller that is operably connected to the automated pick device, the controller having a pallet load generator configured to determine a pallet load structure of mixed packages, the pallet load generator being programmed so that it determines the load structure from mixed package layers overlaid over each other at least one of the mixed package layers being formed of stacks of mixed packages, top and bottom surfaces of the stacks corresponding to the at least one mixed package layer respectively forming top and bottom surfaces of the at least one mixed package layer that are substantially flat. The controller generates commands for the pick device to build the pallet load from the load structure determined by the pallet load generator.
Tray assembly for use with a carriage in a product sortation system
A tray assembly is provided for use with a carrier in a product sortation system. The tray assembly includes a platform to receive parcels loaded onto the carrier. A pair of movable edge members are disposed at opposite sides of the platform. Each edge member is integrated with a combination including a pair of pivotable support arms and a spring element intermediate of the support arms. Each support arm supports its edge member at one end and is pivotally mounted at another end to a tray framework. The spring element is fixedly mounted at one end to the tray framework and is connected at another end to its edge member in a biasing relationship. In response to an applied load resulting from a parcel bearing down on the edge member, the support arms pivot downward in a manner sufficient to allow the parcel to reach and then rest on the tray platform. At the same time as the support arms pivot, the spring element deflects. After the package is unloaded from the tray platform, the return action of the spring restores the edge members back to their original location, as guided by the support arms.
SOFT SPHERICAL OBJECT CONVEYING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING SOFT SPHERICAL OBJECT
A soft spherical object conveying apparatus according to the present invention comprising: a water tank into which at least one soft spherical object is introduced; a conveying rotary member that rotates in the water tank and has a peripheral part provided with a plurality of housing recesses housing each one of the soft spherical objects; a guide member disposed along part of the peripheral part of the conveying rotary member in the water tank; and a removing roller that rotates on an upstream side of the guide member in the water tank in a rotation direction of the conveying rotary member, such that a part of the removing roller opposed to the peripheral part of the conveying rotary member moves in a direction away from the guide member.
COIN TRANSPORTING BELT AND COIN HANDLING MACHINE
A coin transporting belt comprises a toothed belt with teeth formed on both surfaces of a belt unit, and an engagement member for engaging and transporting a coin attached to the toothed belt. The engagement member comprises: an attachment portion attached to the toothed belt; and a contact portion formed into a linear shape extending in a direction perpendicular to a long-edge direction of the toothed belt. The contact portion is to contact the coin.
DEVICE FOR PROVIDING SORTED CLOSURE ELEMENTS
The present invention relates to a device for providing sorted closure elements in the form of crown caps, comprising a space for bulk storage of the caps, a lifting conveyor in the form of a belt entering the space and comprising, on an outer face, a plurality of cleats oriented transversely and spaced in order to define a recess between a lower cleat and an upper cleat, each recess collecting a plurality of the caps as the recess passes through the storage space, means for sorting unbalanced caps present inside the recess. The lower edge of the upper cleat has a convex section opposite the belt. The means cooperates with the movement of the lifting conveyor so as to cause the incorrectly oriented caps to fall.
Transport apparatus for conveying shoe sole
A transport apparatus is for conveying a shoe sole, and includes a rail unit divided into process and bridge regions, a delivery device and a transfer device. The delivery device is movable in the process and the bridge regions, and includes a conveyor belt for carrying the shoe sole and to move the shoe sole on the rail unit. The transfer device is located adjacent to the bridge region, and includes a transfer roller assembly and a transfer belt, which surrounds the transfer roller assembly and is drivable by the same for carrying the shoe sole. When the delivery device is in the bridge region, the conveyor belt is adjacent to the transfer belt, and is operable to convey the shoe sole onto the transfer belt.
SORTING METHOD FOR HOLLOW BODIES AND SORTING DEVICE
Hollow bodies which are closed on one side and which are cylindrical are sorted by a sorting device. The hollow bodies have an end-side opening, a base surface situated opposite the opening and a shell surface extending between the base surface and the opening. The sorting device includes first nozzles arranged on an upper guide for conducting a first fluid flow in the direction of a lateral guide, and second nozzles arranged on a lower guide for conducting a second fluid flow in the direction of an outlet. Since the force of the fluid flow is several times greater if the fluid flow strikes a part of the shell surface of the hollow body through the end-side opening of the hollow body than if the fluid flow strikes the base surface of the hollow body from the outside, sorting of the hollow bodies is made possible.
