Item individualization station
An individualization station has a supply deck for supplying flat goods to a goods processing apparatus following in the transport path in the transport direction x of a Cartesian coordinate system, with openings in the supply deck for a drum in an individualization region, and with individualization assembly as well as with a contact pressure box. The contact pressure box is movable in the z-direction, and has a linkage that is pivotable at a downstream end. An individualization assembly carrier forms an L-shape at an upstream end of the linkage that is pivotable in the contact pressure box. A stop side of the undeflected individualization assembly carrier is aligned parallel to the y/z-plane and extends counter to a y-direction. The individualization assembly carrier can be deflected above the supply deck at a variable distance corresponding to the thickness of the flat good to be individualized, and is adjustable in the y-direction and counter thereto by an adjustment assembly.

Rejected media unit storage for media processing devices
A media processing device includes: a housing having an opening providing access to a cassette removably supported within the housing; a media unit holder configured to receive a rejected media unit driven between the opening and a body of the cassette along a media reject path; the media unit holder including: a deck having a support surface between a body of the cassette and the opening, the support surface facing the opening; the deck configured to receive the rejected media unit on the support surface for removal of the rejected media unit via the opening.
Output hopper for media processing devices
An example disclosed output hopper includes a cavity to receive media units from an output of a media processing device, the cavity to cause the media units to form a stack in a first direction; a first door pivotably movable between a closed position and an open position, the first door to retain the media units in the cavity when in the closed position; a second door movable between the closed position and the open position, the second door to retain the media units in the cavity when in the closed position; wherein the first door is configured to pivot on a first axis substantially parallel to the first direction; and the second door is configured to pivot on a second axis substantially parallel to the first direction.

Automatic media loader for feeder
An automatic loader for delivering vertically stacked media to a hopper of a feeder. The automatic loader includes a powered conveying device, actuated plates, a first sensor, and a second sensor. The first sensors detects a height of the vertically stacked media that is in the hopper, and the second sensor detects a separation between the hopper and the vertically stacked media that is in a staging area of the conveying device. Based on signals generated by the first and second sensors, the conveying device automatically delivers the vertically stacked media that is in the staging area to the hopper of the feeder.
Refilling Device for a Stacking Magazine with Metal Sheets
A refilling device on a stacking magazine (2) comprises a refilling magazine (18) which is disposed above the stacking magazine and has a rotatably drivable shaft (10) on each of two sides of the refilling magazine, the shafts together forming a support for a stack (11), and at least one controllably activatable air nozzle, by way of which air can be blown into the refilling magazine in such a way that metal sheets on the bottom side of the stack (11) can be bent by the air supply in the direction of the stacking magazine.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A corrugated cardboard sheet feeding apparatus, which comprises: an upstream-side conveying unit which conveys a corrugated cardboard sheet mounted on delivery rollers; and a downstream-side conveying unit which is adjacent to the downstream side of the upstream-side conveying unit and conveys, to a sheet processing unit, the corrugated cardboard sheet delivered from the upstream-side conveying unit. The downstream-side conveying unit has: a downstream-side suction unit which has openings facing a sheet conveyance path; and feed rollers with a portion of the outer peripheral surfaces thereof protruding towards the sheet conveyance path, which are accommodated in the downstream-side suction unit. The distance between the downstream ends of the openings and the axis of the most-downstream-side delivery rollers is set to be not larger than the maximum range of the distance between the conveyance rollers of the sheet processing unit.
