Shipping and Dispensing Box for Slit Sheet Material
Exemplary embodiments pertain to a combined shipping and expansion device for shipping a roll of unexpanded slit sheet material and for expanding the slit sheet material. In some examples, the device includes: a container made with recyclable paper or board; a roll of slit sheet material wound around a core member and positioned within the container; the roll of slit sheet material having a slit pattern that forms open cells upon expansion; the core member being made with recyclable paper or board and having a length greater than a width of the roll of slit sheet wound around the core member and having protrusions that extend beyond each side of the roll of slit sheet material; a plurality of yoke members within the container, including at least one yoke member that rotatably receives a first of the protrusions and at least one yoke member that rotatably receives a second of the protrusions; and the container having a dispensing opening through which the slit sheet material wound around the core member can be extended and pulled, causing the core member to rotate relative to the yoke members via rotation of the roll of slit sheet material. The combined shipping and expansion device is made from substantially entirely recyclable paper or board materials, whereby after complete dispensing of the slit sheet material from the shipping and expansion device, the combined shipping and expansion device can be recycled in a paper recycling facility.
HAND DISPENSER FOR STRETCH WRAP COMPRISED OF PAPER OR CARDBOARD
A film dispenser for dispensing stretch wrap or other flexible materials. The film dispenser is comprised of paper or cardboard. The film dispenser being inserted into an extended core or having the extended core inserted into the film dispenser.
Dispenser of stretch wrap
The present invention provides a dispenser of stretch wrap, comprising a main body with a first end, a second end, a first connector portion proximate to the first end, a second connector portion proximate to the second end, a first braking mechanism at the first connector portion, a second braking mechanism at the second connector portion, a tension controller terminating an end of the second connector portion, the first connector portion and second connector portion are adapted to engage two ends of an elongated core with stretch wrap film, the tension controller comprising an adjustable portion that is rotatable and in mechanical communication with a movable part located intermediate the tension controller and the second connector portion and the adjustable portion is a rotatable knob, and the movable part is a clutching mechanism connected to a shaft; characterized in that the tension controller further comprises a tension limiting mechanism.
Compact manual dunnage conversion apparatus
A manually-operated dunnage conversion apparatus includes a housing, a support mounted in the housing and configured to support a supply of sheet material for dispensing from the dunnage conversion apparatus, and one or both of (a) a guide member mounted in the housing downstream of the support and providing a resilient surface across which the sheet material may be drawn to restrict tearing of the sheet material as it is drawn from the dunnage conversion apparatus, and (b) a tensioning assembly mounted in the housing and configured to apply a compressive force between opposite axial sides of the housing to control the force necessary to dispense the supply of sheet material. Except for the tensioning assembly, the apparatus may be made of paper-based products, making the apparatus recyclable, reusable, and composed of a renewable resource, as well as inexpensive to manufacture.

Method and device for the optimal use of windable material during winding up and/or unwinding
A method and a device for optimal use of windable material during winding up onto and/or unwinding from storage drums operates in conjunction with feeding to winding machines. The windable material can be a textile web, a fabric web, a wire or the like. A counterforce necessary for keeping the tension force acting on the windable material constant is maintained until all of the windable material has been fed into subsequent processing. The counterforce may be maintained by a connecting element that is connected to the windable material and to the storage drum, is able to be wound up, and is of lower quality than the windable material. In the device, controllable means generate the counterforce counteracting the tension force until all of the windable material has been drawn into the subsequent processing device.
STRETCH WRAP HAND DISPENSER PRODUCED FROM NON-TRADITIONAL POLYMERS OR NATURAL MATERIALS
A handle produced from non-traditional polymers or natural materials used for dispensing stretch film. The handle provides the same functionality as current options but reduces the amount of single use plastic waste associated with stretch film usage.
Stand for self contained cartridge and method for manually dispensing an expandable cushioning wrap
An unpowered, manually operable apparatus for dispensing cushioning wrap material drawn concurrently from a roll of separator material and a self-contained cartridge that includes a roll of expandable sheet material. The rolls are supported on a stand for rotation about respective parallel, spaced-apart axes. In addition to the roll, the cartridge includes a tensioning assembly and support panels that abut respective ends of the roll. The tensioning assembly and the support panels cooperate with the stand to control rotational resistance of the roll. The rotational resistance causes the expandable sheet material to expand in length and thickness as it is manually pulled from the stand with the separator material, and support surfaces on the stand hold the cartridge and the separator roll in position. When the cartridge containing the expandable sheet material is depleted, the cartridge is readily removed and replaced.
Web tension control
The current invention is generally directed to apparatuses and methods for controlling tension and tension disturbances in a web being continuously unwound from a roll of spirally wound web material. In accordance with the present disclosure, a rotary dancer mechanism is used for applying active and variable forces to a moving web in response to irregularities, such as variations in tension. In one aspect, the apparatus and method of the present disclosure may be used to attenuate undesired disturbances in the web as the web is being fed into a process.
HAND DISPENSER FOR STRETCH WRAP COMPRISED OF PAPER OR CARDBAORD
A film dispenser for dispensing stretch wrap or other flexible materials. The film dispenser is comprised of paper or cardboard. The film dispenser being inserted into an extended core or having the extended core inserted into the film dispenser.
