After the leading end portion of the glass ribbon is wound around the roll core in the first conveyance mode, the conveyance mode is shifted from the first conveyance mode to the second conveyance mode.

An operation control unit that controls the plurality of rotating conveyor driving units so as to synchronize respective rotational speeds of the plurality of conveying units is also provided.
