CARD STACKER
A card stacker includes a stack support that supports a stack of card substrates, a card lift mechanism, a card feed mechanism, and a retraction mechanism. The card lift mechanism is configured to support the card substrate in a lift position below the stack support, and drive the card substrate to a raised position, in which the card substrate is supported on the stack support at the bottom of the stack. The card feed mechanism includes a first transport roller having a feed position, in which the first transport roller engages a top surface of the card substrate in the lift position, and a retracted position when the card substrate is in the raised position, in which the first transport roller is on the bottom side of the stack support. The retraction mechanism is configured to move the first transport roller between the feed and retracted positions.
Cam stacking assembly for a mixed sized mail-piece sorter
According to some embodiments, a stacking assembly accepts mail-pieces traveling from a re-direct mechanism in a first direction and urges a leading edge portion of a mail-piece toward a registration wall of a sortation bin. The stacking assembly may include a plurality of neighboring cam shafts, each with at least one cam, arranged along the first direction, such that rotation of the cam shafts results in synchronized rotation of the cams to guide an incoming mail-piece. Rotation of the cam shafts may also urge a previously stacked mail-piece away from the cams, and into the sortation bin, in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND SHEET CONVEYANCE METHOD
In accordance with an embodiment, an image forming apparatus comprises a first cassette configured to accommodate a first sheet; a second cassette configured to accommodate a second sheet different from the first sheet in at least one of a size and an orientation; a controller configured to perform control to feed the first sheet to a conveyance path from the first cassette and feed the second sheet to the conveyance path from the second cassette to insert the second sheet between respective copies if a printing instruction for a plurality of copies is issued; and a sheet discharge section configured to stack the first sheet and the second sheet.
SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet accommodating unit, a sheet feeding unit, a first lifting portion, a second lifting portion, a linear member configured to liftably support the first lifting portion and the second lifting portion, and stretched between the first lifting portion and the second lifting portion on a lower side of the stacking surface, a first winding unit, an second winding unit, and an adjustment member configured to adjust both a first distance of the linear member between the first winding unit and the first lifting portion and a second distance of the linear member between the second winding unit and the second lifting portion.

Out indicator sheets
Embodiments are directed to a dispensing device and methods of using a dispensing device having an improved out indicator. The dispensing device includes a housing having a cavity. A tissue stack is disposed within the cavity, the tissue stack including a plurality of tissue sheets folded along a crease. An aperture is formed in a top surface of the housing such that a tissue sheet is removable from the cavity through the aperture. A portion of the tissue sheets includes an out indicator formed along a centerline of each tissue sheet and across the crease.

POST-PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND ROTATION PADDLE
A post-processing apparatus that rotates a rotation paddle in which a fin having flexibility is cantilevered by a holder to apply a conveying force along a rotation direction to a sheet to align the sheet, wherein the holder includes a recess in which a peripheral surface part from a support position of the fin to an upstream side in the rotation direction is recessed from a circumscribed circle of the holder, and when the fin elastically turns while being pressed against the sheet with rotation of the rotation paddle, turning of the fin is allowed until the fin comes into contact with a surface of the recess.
