Paper sheet handling apparatus
The paper sheet handling apparatus includes a base module and an extension module connected to the base module. The base module includes a feeding unit, a first transport unit, a recognition unit that recognizes the paper sheet, first-type stacking units arranged along a first direction for stacking a paper sheet and having an opening to remove the stacked paper sheet, and a control unit that controls transport of the paper sheet based on a recognition result obtained in the recognition unit. The extension module includes a second transport unit that transports inside the extension module a paper sheet discharged from the base module by the first transport unit, and second-type stacking units arranged along a second direction different from the first direction and having an opening to remove the stacked paper sheet. The control unit controls the first-type stacking unit and the second-type stacking unit to sort and stack the paper sheet.
Device for handling single sheets, for introducing and distributing rectangular single sheets, especially bank notes, respectively into and out of a container
A single sheet handling device (14a to 14d, 30, 200, 252, 270, 350) for the input and the output of rectangular single sheets (38) respectively into and out of a container (12a to 12d). These rectangular single sheets can in particular be banknotes (38). The single sheet handling device (14a to 14d, 30, 200, 252, 270, 350) has a feeding device with feeding elements for the sheet-by-sheet feeding of single sheets (38) and for storing these single sheets (38) in a stack (36) of single sheets in the container (12a to 12d). Further, the single sheet handling device has a separating device with separating elements for the sheet-by-sheet removal of single sheets (38) of the stack (36) from the container (12a to 12d). The feeding elements and the separating elements are arranged separately from the container (12a to 12d).
Sheet processing apparatus
One object is to detect a sheet with high precision by using ultrasonic waves. A sheet processing apparatus detects a paper sheet based on a change in ultrasonic waves. The sheet processing apparatus includes a support member that supports a sheet. A through part is formed in the support member. The sheet processing apparatus further includes a transmitting unit that transmits ultrasonic waves from a transmitting surface; a reflecting unit that reflects the ultrasonic waves, which were transmitted from the transmitting unit and passed through the through part; and a receiving unit that receives on a receiving surface the ultrasonic waves reflected by the reflecting unit. The receiving surface faces downward, and the transmitting surface is parallel to a vertical direction or faces downward, or the transmitting surface faces downward, and the receiving surface is parallel to a vertical direction or faces downward.
System and method for determining stacking and sorting quality in machine apparatus that process media
A method for evaluating stacking or sorting integrity at an output device of a high-speed apparatus that processes media includes: acquiring an audio data substantially in real-time from the output device of the high-speed apparatus while the high-speed apparatus is in operation, by use of an audio sensor located at the output device; transforming by a processor, the audio data to into a stacking or sorting integrity value; and if the stacking or sorting integrity value exceeds a predetermined threshold, stopping by the processor a document transport of the high-speed apparatus. An apparatus for evaluating stacking or sorting integrity at an output device, and a system for evaluating stacking or sorting integrity at an output device of a high-speed apparatus are also described.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELECTRODE
A device for producing an electrode, in particular for a lithium-ion battery cell. The device includes a belt conveyor having a belt which has, on the support face thereof, a first depression extending in the belt transverse direction, and a laser-cutting machine for cutting a strip-shaped electrode foil lying on the belt in the region of the first depression. A method for producing an electrode, in particular using a device of this kind is also provided.
Bill collecting and recycling box
