SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PLACING AN INSERT IN A BAG
A bag carrying mechanism for a bag and insert combining apparatus for combining a stream of inserts with a stream of bags is provided. The bag carrying mechanism includes a plurality of bag holding arrangements operably coupled to one another for rotation about a rotational axis. Each bag holding arrangement includes first and second segments movable relative to one another and forming a receiving cavity therebetween. First and second holding features hold opposite sides of the bag within the receiving cavity and selectively hold the bag in an open position for receipt of an insert through an open end of the bag. Methods of using the bag carrying mechanism and systems incorporating the bag carrying mechanism are provided.
PAPER SHEET HANDLING APPARATUS
One object is to provide a paper sheet handling apparatus in which a paper sheet stacked in a stacking unit is surely pushed toward an opening in the stacking unit. The paper sheet handling apparatus includes a feed unit that feeds a paper sheet, a transport unit that transports the paper sheet fed by the feed unit, a stacking unit that stacks therein the paper sheet transported by the transport unit and has an opening for removing the paper sheet stacked therein, a pushing member that pushes the paper sheet present in the stacking unit toward the opening, a pressing member that presses the paper sheet pushed by the pushing member, and a control unit that controls driving the pressing member based on an operation of the pushing member.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FILLING A TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH NOTES OF PECUNIARY VALUE
A device (10) for filling a transport container (12) with notes of pecuniary value, has a displacement unit (700) that conveys the notes of pecuniary value into the transport container (12) through a movable frame (16). When the transport container (12) is closed, the displacement unit (700) is in a second operating state in which its cross sectional area is reduced so far that it passes through the partially closed frame (16).

MAGAZINE FOR SHEET PACKAGING ELEMENTS
There is described a magazine (1) for sheet packaging elements (2) in which side portions (4a) of said packaging elements (2) are held in a vertical position by transport and support branches (15, 18, 20) of main and secondary units (6, 8, 9) and said packaging elements (2) are advanced in respective conveying spaces (16, 19, 21) along a path (P) parallel to said transport and support branches (15, 18, 20) of said main and secondary units (6, 8, 9). The packaging elements (2) are advanced along said path (P) from an inlet section (7) to an outlet section (12). During conveying, batches (3) of packaging elements (2) are formed between an accumulation unit (8) and an auxiliary conveying unit (9) so that said packaging elements (2) are advanced in said batches (3) towards an end packaging station.
PAPER SHEET HANDLING APPARATUS
The paper sheet handling apparatus includes a base module and an extension module connected to the base module. The base module includes a feeding unit, a first transport unit, a recognition unit that recognizes the paper sheet, first-type stacking units arranged along a first direction for stacking a paper sheet and having an opening to remove the stacked paper sheet, and a control unit that controls transport of the paper sheet based on a recognition result obtained in the recognition unit. The extension module includes a second transport unit that transports inside the extension module a paper sheet discharged from the base module by the first transport unit, and second-type stacking units arranged along a second direction different from the first direction and having an opening to remove the stacked paper sheet. The control unit controls the first-type stacking unit and the second-type stacking unit to sort and stack the paper sheet.
Banknote stack transport arrangement and a cash handling machine
A banknote stack transport arrangement for a cash handling machine may include a first structure presenting a first banknote engagement portion that is displaceable in relation to the first structure, and a second structure presenting a second banknote engagement portion that is displaceable in relation to the second structure. At least one of the first and the second structures may be pivotally arranged at its first end so as to be swingably movable between a closed configuration and an open configuration. A movable banknote engager may be configured to press the banknote stack towards the first and/or the second banknote engagement portion. The banknote stack transport arrangement may be configured to transport the banknote stack out from a temporary banknote receptacle by displacing the first and the second banknote engagement portions and by moving the banknote engager to an active position.
