Sheet bundle binding device and image forming system having the same
The present invention is to provide a sheet bundle binding device capable of easily removing some sheets from a sheet bundle that has been subjected to staple-free binding. A corner Sc of a first sheet bundle which is accumulated on a processing tray is subjected to proper binding using a staple needle by a staple binding unit. Then, a corner of a second sheet bundle obtained by accumulating additional sheets on the first sheet bundle is pressed and deformed between crimping toothed parts of a staple-free binding unit to temporarily bind the second sheet bundle. Thus, the additional sheets can easily be removed from the second sheet bundle.
Apparatus for the Manufacture of Battery Components
An apparatus for separating battery plates comprising a work surface for receiving a stack of battery plates, and an alignment mechanism for aligning the battery plates on the work surface. The work surface is movable between a first position in which it is angled with respect to a horizontal plane and a second position in which it is substantially aligned with the horizontal plane. When the work surface moves between the first and second position adjacent battery plates of the stack are displaced relative to each other.
Sheet stacking apparatus and image forming system
A sheet stacking apparatus including a control portion is configured to execute: a first mode in which the control portion causes a bundle forming portion to form a bundle of sheets including a sheet supported by a first placement portion and a sheet placed on a second placement portion; and a second mode in which a downstream end portion of a bundle of sheets formed in the second mode is positioned upstream of a downstream end portion of a bundle of sheets to be formed in the first mode, and wherein the control portion sets a maximum number of sheets constituting a bundle of sheets which the control portion causes the bundle forming portion to form in the second mode to be smaller than a maximum number of sheets constituting a bundle of sheets which the control portion causes the bundle forming portion to form in the first mode.
Print medium finishing apparatus, image forming system, and moving structure employed therein
Provided is a print medium finishing apparatus including a print medium stacking plate; a stacker tray; and a print medium discharging apparatus configured to discharge, to the stacker tray, print media on the print medium stacking plate, wherein the print medium discharging apparatus includes at least one driving gear that is rotatable; a moving member configured to move linearly and curvilinearly with respect to the at least one driving gear and including a motion converting gear configured to engage the at least one driving gear and convert rotation of the at least one driving gear into a linear motion and a curvilinear motion; and a grip member configured to be moved linearly and curvilinearly by the moving member while holding the print media on the print medium stacking plate, and to place the print media on the stacker tray.
SHEET BUNDLE BINDING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCLUDING SHEET BUNDLE BINDING APPARATUS
Provided is a binding apparatus enabling easy removal of a sheet bundle, which has been subjected to binding, from clamping teeth. The binding apparatus includes: a sheet placement portion on which sheets are placed; an alignment unit configured to align the sheets placed on the sheet placement portion; a binding member configured to bind the sheets placed on the sheet placement portion by deforming the sheets without using a staple; and a separating member configured to apply a rotational force to the sheets which are bound by the binding member to separate the sheets and the binding member from each other, the alignment unit and the separating member being constructed by different members.
SHEET LOADING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet loading apparatus for carrying a sheet loaded in a first tray to a second tray includes: a grip portion configured to grip the sheet; a sliding portion configured to move the grip portion between a sheet gripping position and a sheet release position; a lift portion configured to move the grip portion and cause the grip portion to emerge from the sheet loading surface; and a common power transmission portion configured to transmit power to both the sliding portion and the lift portion, wherein in one cycle, after the sliding portion moves the grip portion to a downstream side, the lift portion moves the grip portion downward of the sheet loading surface to cause the grip portion to reach the release position, and after the sliding portion moves the grip portion to the upstream side, the lift portion moves the grip portion to the gripping position.
Non-printed paper supply apparatus used for single-side printer
A supply apparatus for paper of which one side is printed and another side is not printed and which is used for a single-side printer much cheaper than a double-side printer and having a smaller occupied area than that of the double-side printer is improved to be easily, promptly, safely, and surely set. A supply apparatus reverses a plurality of sheets of stacked paper of which one side has been printed so that a non-printed surface comes to an upper surface and supplies the stacked paper to a printer again. The non-printed paper supply apparatus for the single-side printer includes two palettes which sandwich and hold the stacked paper from upper and lower sides, a plurality of alignment holding tools which is provided between the palettes and is adjusted according to a volume of the stacked paper, a pair of fastening and reversing tools including reversing bars in which reversing shafts for reverse are formed on sides of the palettes opposite to each other, and a pair of reverse assisting stands which pivotally support reversing shafts of each fastening and reversing tool. The alignment holding tool and the fastening and reversing tool are respectively fixed to upper/lower palettes with fixing tools which are attached/detached in a single operation.
