The body has a first region adjacent a first end of the body, a second region adjacent a second end of the body, and a central region positioned between the first and second regions. The central region of the body defines a plurality of spaced apart fastening holes. The first region defines a strap opening for receiving the second end of the strap and releasably engaging a portion of the body. The buckle includes a frame including a proximal region coupled to the first end of the body, a distal region, and first and second side regions between the proximal and distal region. The second side region includes a gateway for releasably receiving any region of the body.

Apparatus for securing multiple items by means of locking cables
10279241 · 2019-05-07 ·

An apparatus configured to secure multiple items by means of a single lock and multiple locking cables is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a shaft sized to slide within a sleeve, each of the shaft and the sleeve comprising holes formed in their outer surfaces. The sleeve and the shaft are sized for disposition in a threading alignment position and a locking alignment position. The threading alignment position provides passages through which locking cables coupled to locking lugs may be passed. The locking alignment position creates a constriction in each threading passage, and also provides a locking passage sized to accept a locking member such as the shackle of a padlock. Insertion of a locking member maintains the constriction in the threading passages, thereby preventing removal of the locking cables.

Protecting the edges of sports boards
12036466 · 2024-07-16 · ·

An edge protector for a sports board in the form of a bead of a resilient material having a cross-section comprising a central portion and, extending therefrom in one direction, a tapering impact-absorbing section and, extending from the central portion in the opposing direction, a pair of convergent leg sections for engaging an edge of the board. The central portion and the impact-absorbing section together form a triangular cross-section, which is particularly suited to receiving and dissipating an impact. The triangular section can be a hollow triangular section to reduce weight and tailor the impact response. One leg of the pair extends beyond the other leg to case fitting. The bead is preferably formed by extrusion; silicone with a Shore A hardness of between 62 and 68 provides an ideal resilient material.

Case or Cover for Hobby Equipment

The invention relates to a cover or case for goods, in particular for use as a cover or case for hobby or sports equipment. In an embodiment, the case has an inner portion, formed of expanded polypropylene (ePP) and defining a cavity for receiving at least part of the item. The case also includes an outer layer, formed of self-reinforcing polypropylene (srPP), arranged to cover an outer surface of at least part of the inner portion. In further embodiments, the cover is formed of two or more sections that may be arranged to at least partially overlap, wherein adjusting the overlap of the at least two sections changes the dimensions of an inner cavity within the cover or case. The case may be telescoping, in order to provide adjustable dimensions for a cavity within the case.

Device for towing a board for board sports
