TAPE APPLICATOR AND METHOD OF USING TAPE APPLICATOR
A tape applicator for an adhesive tape includes a cutting head. The cutting head includes a base surface and a cutting blade, the cutting blade having a blade base where the cutting blade intersects with and extends from the base surface, and the cutting blade having a cutting edge. The tape applicator further includes a Y-axis extending from a midpoint of the blade base, a longitudinal blade axis extending from the midpoint to a center point of the cutting edge, and a first angle greater than 0 degrees between the Y-axis and the longitudinal blade axis. The tape applicator includes a Z-axis tangent to the base surface, and parallel to the blade base, a cutting edge axis passing through the center point and tangent to the cutting edge, and a second angle less than 80 degrees between the Z-axis and the cutting edge axis.
WORKPIECE MACHINING APPARATUS
A pressure plate 12 has an upper surface 12a and a lower surface 12b. A blade die unit 16 for machining a workpiece by applying a pressure to a principal surface of the workpiece is arranged on the lower surface 12b. A face plate 24 has an upper surface 24a and a lower surface 24b, and is arranged such that the upper surface 24a faces the lower surface 12b with the blade die unit 16 interposed therebetween. An upper pressure roller 20 applies a pressure directed from the upper surface 12a side toward the lower surface 12b side of the pressure plate 12 to a portion of the upper surface 12a. A lower pressure roller 22 applies a pressure directed from the lower surface 24b side toward the upper surface 24a side of the face plate 24 to a portion of the lower surface 24b. A motor changes a portion that the upper pressure roller 20 pressurizes, and also, a portion that the lower pressure roller 22 pressurizes is changed such that the portion that the lower pressure roller 22 pressurizes is aligned with the portion that the upper pressure roller 20 pressurizes when viewed from a direction crossing the lower surface 24b.
Wrapping material roll tensioner system, method of manufacture and use
A dispensing box with a roll tensioner houses a material roll and maintains a material cutting edge in an upward position for easy grasping during use. The roll tensioner comprises distal and proximal end sections with opposing bottom tabs separated by a spring back reversion section. A roll tensioner slide assembly integrated in the front wall of the dispensing box has opposing parallel slits terminating at opposing parallel slots with parallel locking flaps. Opposing bottom tabs of a roll tensioner are inserted through the parallel slots, resting in a first position during non-use and adapted to be slid down into a second position in the parallel slits when later engaged for use to retain the material cut edge in the upward position for easy grasping. The locking flaps have break-away top and bottom walls abutting a bend wall and are in a stored position and later opened outward to a locking position during use to prevent movement of the roll tensioner.

Nonwoven fabric dispenser
A nonwoven fabric dispenser is provided with fixation elements attached to the body of the dispenser and a cutter assembly attached to a lid of the dispenser. Nonwoven fabric stock is secured by the fabric engagement structures when the lid of the dispenser is in a closed configuration and the cutter assembly is configured to separate a sheet of the nonwoven fabric stock of a desired length.
Wrapping Material Roll Storage and Dispensing Device
The present invention relates to a wrapping material storage and dispensing device. The device has a plurality of containers, wherein each container is configured to store a wrapping material roll and has a sliding cutter to dispense and tear a fixed and desired length of the wrapping material sheet from each roll. Each container has a pair of rollers that enable rolling of the wrapping material roll when the wrapping material is dispensed. The device includes suction cups at the base and/or rear to secure the container(s) on a counter surface or mount to a wall. The device easily stores, organizes, conserves and enables single-handed pulling out or dispensing of specific lengths of wrapping material.

Printer
A printer includes: a conveyor that conveys a printing medium; a printing device that prints an image; a roller provided downstream of the printing device in a conveying direction; an opposed member opposed to the roller; a motor; a coupling mechanism that power-transmittably couples the motor and the roller to each other and rotates the roller in a first direction during driving of the motor, the first direction being a rotational direction for conveying the printing medium downstream in the conveying direction; and a moving mechanism that moves the roller between (i) a first position at which the roller is power-transmittably coupled to the motor by the coupling mechanism, and the printing medium is nipped by the roller and the opposed member and (ii) a second position at which the roller is power-transmittably coupled to the motor by the coupling mechanism and separated from the printing medium.

Sheet body cutting method and sheet body cutting device
A sheet body is gripped (bound) by grip conveyance units, and conveyed as the grip conveyance units are displaced in this state. At the same time as this conveyance, the sheet body is held by delivering units, and delivered by a predetermined amount by the delivering units. After that, the sheet body is cut in predetermined size and shape by cutting molds.
