The present disclosure presents a multi-purpose pole grip design in a generally conical shape to resist a user's hand from sliding off it while under axial loading. The present disclosure provides a more ergonomic and comfortable handle that requires less grip strength thus making it a prime design for poles used in sports like skiing and hiking and general walking sticks, including canes.

Detachable chair lift leg rest and method of use
09737788 · 2017-08-22 ·

A detachable chair lift leg rest is disclosed. The leg rest includes a lower attachment member and an upper attachment member which are removably secured to the shaft of a ski pole. The disclosure also includes a hanger that is either permanently or removably secured to a ski boot. In one embodiment, lightweight hooks, are spaced apart so that when a skier is on a chairlift, the lower hook is parallel to the ski boot and the upper hook is at the correct height to attach to the chairlift's restraint bar creating a ninety degree angle between the skier's knees and their torso. The lower engagement member is hooked to the hanger on the ski boot and the upper engagement member is engaged with the restraint bar of the chair lift. The ski pole with the upper and lower engagement members affixed allow the weight of the skier's legs, boots, and skis to hang from the restraint bar thereby reducing the strain on the skier's body, specifically the skier's knees.

POLE HANDLE WITH HANDLE LOOP
20170231339 · 2017-08-17 · ·

The invention relates to a hand-retaining device (70) for securing to a pole handle (1), comprising an insert opening (71) for the hand, a first exit opening (72) for the hack of the hand, and a second exit opening (73) for the thumb. The hand-retaining device according to the invention further has a first elastic strip (74) which is led between the thumb and the other fingers and on which a coupling element (79) is provided that can be secured in or on the pole handle in a removable mechanism in a self-latching manner. The invention further relates to a pole handle to which the handle loop according to the invention can be optimally secured.

Leg assembly, and shock absorption mechanism for pole

A leg assembly, and a shock absorption mechanism for a pole are provided. The shock absorption mechanism comprises a pole body and a leg assembly, wherein the leg assembly comprises a support leg, a tray surrounding the support leg, and a connecting sleeve for connecting the pole body inserting from the top of the support leg. When a bottom of the pole body is inserted into the connecting sleeve and tightly resists against the elastic limiting clamps, the elastic limiting clamps will be pushed outward and limited in the guiding slots of the support leg, so that the connecting sleeve with the pole body can move upward and downward relative to the support leg. There is a mounting space for the shock absorption spring between the support leg and the connecting sleeve, and the support leg has a trend of moving downward due to resistance from the shock absorption spring.

Pole apparatus, methods, and systems

One aspect of this disclosure is a pole apparatus. The pole apparatus may comprise a grip segment comprising a cord attachment surface; a pole segment; a tip segment and a cord extending between at least the pole segment and the tip segment. The grip segment, the pole segment, and the tip segment may be arrangeable in a side-by-side disposition. A portion of the cord extending between the pole segment and the tip segment may be positionable on the cord attachment surface in the side-by-side disposition. The grip segment may be removably attachable to the tip segment such that, when the portion of the cord is positioned on the cord attachment surface, the removable attachment of the grip segment to the tip segment may maintain the side-by-side disposition. Aspects of related apparatus, methods, and systems also are disclosed.
