Method and apparatus for feeding a production line of absorbent sanitary articles with a layer of a virgin multilayer tape
A method for feeding a production line of absorbent sanitary articles with a layer of a virgin multilayer tape including providing a head free end of the virgin multilayer tape partially unwound from a respective virgin spool; providing a tail free end of a multilayer tape in use; applying a first connecting element on a first layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a first layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; applying a second connecting element on a second layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a second layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; pulling the first layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a first direction; pulling the second layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a second direction.
REWINDING MACHINE WITH SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR REEL AND RIBBON
The present invention relates to a rewinding machine equipped with a support system for the reel and the ribbon-like product.
In particular, the invention relates to a rewinding machine (1) for a ribbon-like product (N), comprising: a fixed support structure which supports an unwinding unit (SV) and a rewinding unit (RB); an independent first carrier roller (2), movable along a direction parallel to a support surface of the rewinding machine (1); a second independent carrier roller (4), movable in the opposite direction with respect to the first carrier roller (2); a third roller (3), placed between the first (2) and second (4) carrier rollers and movable integrally with the first carrier roller (2); a set of driving rollers (110) placed along a path between the unwinding unit (SV) and the rewinding unit (RB); a web (10), forming at least one loop, made of a material with an air-permeable texture, said web (10) unwinding between the second carrier roller (4), the third roller (3), and the set of driving rollers (110); one or more suction boxes (6) placed under the web (10) to retain the ribbon-like product (N).
Sheet feeding device
A sheet feeding device includes a supporting portion supporting sheets, an air blower blowing an air toward an upstream end from a downstream end of the sheets supported by the sheet supporting portion in a sheet feeding direction, a belt feeding and sucking the uppermost sheet of the sheets to which the air is blown by the air blower, and an upstream suction portion disposed upstream of the feeding belt in the sheet feeding direction and sucking the uppermost sheet. The belt includes a first suction area opposing the uppermost sheet and sucking the uppermost sheet. The upstream suction portion includes a second suction area opposing the uppermost sheet and sucking the uppermost sheet. In a widthwise direction perpendicular to the sheet feeding direction, a width of the second suction area is narrower than a width of the first suction area.
WEB FEEDING SYSTEM FOR A LABELLING MODULE FOR PREPARING THE SPLICING OPERATION
Described is a web feeding system for feeding a web of labelling material to a labelling module that includes a splicing device. The feeding system includes a positioning device for automatically positioning the web leading portion of the web in a splicing position with respect to the splicing device.
A METHOD AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCING CELLULOSE FLUFF
A method for joining together two webs includes: overlapping a head portion of the second web on a tail portion of the first web, jointly cutting the head portion of the second web and the tail portion of the first web along a cutting line, so as to form on the first web and on the second web respective front edges offset from each other, and applying a first adhesive splicing tape between a head end of the second web and a tail end of the first web and at the same time aligning frontally with each other the front edges of the first and the second webs.
Laser strip processing
System and method of laser processing a section of web, or strip in a step and repeat manner while doing so with a continuously moving web during laser processing. The combination of continuous laser processing with a step and repeat manner of cutting parts from the strip, increases throughput for parts. The method includes retracting and indexing a web between passes of continuous laser processing of the web of material and alternating laser processing between two webs in a dual web system further increases throughput results from laser processing.
VACUUM BASED TENSIONING SYSTEM FOR TUBING IN AN AUTOMATED ASSEMBLY PROCESS
A tensioning system for tubing comprises a vertically arranged vacuum box with a vacuum applied at a bottom section of the vacuum box. Tubing enters and exits the vacuum box at a top section and forms a loop of tubing within the vacuum box. The vacuum on the tubing provides a consistent tension to tubing exiting the tensioner. The payout speed of the tubing can be controlled based at least in part on the location of the loop of the tubing within the vacuum box. If the loop is too high, the payout speed can be increased and if the loop of tubing is too low the payout speed can be reduced.
