PAPER FEED ROLLER
Provided is a paper feed roller in which paper conveyance failure is suppressed over a long period of time. The paper feed roller is a paper feed roller 10 including a shaft body 12 and an elastic body layer 14 formed on an outer periphery of the shaft body 12. A plurality of convex portions 16 forming surface unevenness is arranged on a peripheral surface of the elastic body layer 14. The contact area of the entire parts in contact with a glass surface when a glass plate is pressed against the peripheral surface of the paper feed roller 10 with a load of 0.5 to 2.3 N per centimeter in an axial direction is 1.0 to 15% of the nip area with the glass surface.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an image former that forms an image on a sheet of paper, a detector that detects a physical property of a sheet of paper, a receiver that receives paper identification information used in identification of a sheet of paper designated by a user, and a hardware processor. The hardware processor performs: first judgement of judging whether or not there is a correspondence between the paper identification information received by the receiver and a detection result by the detector, second judgement of judging whether or not there is a correspondence between a detection result by the detector of a first sheet of paper conveyed and a detection result by the detector of a second sheet of paper conveyed; and operation control of the image former based on a first judgement result in the first judgement and a second judgement result in the second judgement.
Unwrinkling systems and methods
Due to rapid advancement in computing technology of both hardware and software, the labor intensive sewing process has been transformed into a technology-intensive automated process. During an automated process, product materials may become wrinkled or folded, which can slow down the automated process or result in human intervention. Various examples are provided related to the automation of sewing robots, and removal of wrinkles from products. Images of material on a work table can be captured and analyzed to determine if there are wrinkles or folds in the product. The robot can remove the wrinkle or fold by manipulating the material through the use of end effectors such as, e.g., budgers.
Device for determining the quality of a corrugated board web
A device for determining the quality of a moving corrugated board web with at least one cover web and at least one corrugated web. A quality determination sensor arrangement, which includes a first quality determination sensor unit facing the corrugated board web, is provided for determining the quality of the corrugated board web on its first side, and a second quality determination sensor unit, facing a second side of the corrugated board web opposite the first side, for determining the quality of the corrugated board web on its second side. The device includes an evaluation unit that is in signal contact with the quality determination sensor arrangement and evaluates signals from the quality determination sensor arrangement related to the quality of the corrugated board web.
