A supply unit holds a supply unit including a pickup roller for supplying a sheet, enables the supply unit including the pickup roller to be installed into an image forming apparatus, and includes a roller-protecting member. The roller-protecting member has a roller-protecting surface that covers the pickup roller of the supply unit and includes engaging pawls that can engage and integrally hold the supply unit including the pickup roller with the roller-protecting surface covering the pickup roller.

PAPER FEED ROLL
The present disclosure provides a paper feed roll that inhibits conveyance failure even during long term use by suppressing unevenness in the surface of an elastic material layer when the elastic material layer is formed by two or more phases. A paper feed roll 10 according to the present disclosure is provided with a shaft body 12 and an elastic material layer 14 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body 12. The elastic material layer 14 includes a first phase containing ethylene propylene diene rubber and a second phase containing one or more of either isoprene rubber or natural rubber. The area ratio of the second phase is within the range of 30% or more and 70% or less in a range of any given 2.5 ?m?2.5 ?m square of the elastic material layer 14.

A recording material feeding device includes a stacking portion, a driving source, a holding member, a torque limiter for limiting transmission of a driving torque from the driving source to the stacking portion in a case that the driving source rotates in a state in which the holding member holds the position of the stacking portion; a storing portion for storing information on a holding state of the holding member; and a controller for controlling the driving source to rotate at a rotational speed slower when the information is information indicating that the holding member holds the position of the stacking portion than when the information is information indicating that the holding member does not hold the position of the stacking portion.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus, including a reference guide, an oblique conveyer roller, and a curve guide, is provided. The reference guide is arranged on one side in a widthwise direction with respect to a widthwise center in a sheet conveyer path and regulates a widthwise position of the sheet. The oblique conveyer roller applies a conveying force acting in a direction toward downstream along a conveying direction and toward the reference guide to the sheet. The curve guide is arranged upstream with respect to the oblique conveyer roller along the conveying direction and forms a curve. The curve guide includes an inner guide and an outer guide. The outer guide has a constant curvature throughout a width regardless of a widthwise position therein. The inner guide has a protrusive portion protruding toward the outer guide at a position on the other side in the widthwise direction with respect to the widthwise center.
Image Forming Apparatus Having Tray for Receiving Recording Medium
In an image forming apparatus, a tray having first and second receiving portions is configured to move between a first position, at which at least part of the tray is positioned inside an apparatus body, and a second position, at which the tray is outside the apparatus body. The tray in the first position allows a first recording medium to be conveyed from the first receiving portion. When the tray is in the first position, the second receiving portion is configured to move between a third position, which is at an upstream side relative to a first opening of the apparatus body in a second direction, and a fourth position, which is at a downstream side relative to the third position in the second direction. The second receiving portion at the third position allows a second recording medium to be conveyed from the second receiving portion in the second direction.
Image forming apparatus having tray for receiving recording medium
In an image forming apparatus, a tray having first and second receiving portions is configured to move between a first position, at which at least part of the tray is positioned inside an apparatus body, and a second position, at which the tray is outside the apparatus body. The tray in the first position allows a first recording medium to be conveyed from the first receiving portion. When the tray is in the first position, the second receiving portion is configured to move between a third position, which is at an upstream side relative to a first opening of the apparatus body in a second direction, and a fourth position, which is at a downstream side relative to the third position in the second direction. The second receiving portion at the third position allows a second recording medium to be conveyed from the second receiving portion in the second direction.
Medium ejection apparatus to change angle of extension tray
A medium ejection apparatus includes an ejection tray having a first stacking surface, and an extension tray rotatably attached to an end part of the ejection tray at a downstream side in a medium ejection direction, and having a second stacking surface. An end part of the ejection tray at the downstream side is provided with a first abutting part and a second abutting part. An end part of the extension tray at the ejection tray side is provided with a first abutted part and a second abutted part. The second stacking surface is located forming a first angle with respect to the first stacking surface by the first abutted part abutting against the first abutting part. The second stacking surface is located forming a second angle, different from the first angle, with respect to the first stacking surface by the second abutted part abutting against the first abutting part.
SHEET CONVEYANCE APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a body portion, an openable portion supported by the body portion and configured to be opened and closed with respect to the body portion, a first movable guide supported by the openable portion and movable to a first position at which a first conveyance path through which a sheet is conveyed is formed between the first movable guide and the openable portion and a second position at which the first path is opened, a second movable guide movably supported by the first movable guide, and an abutment portion provided in the body portion. In a state where the openable portion is closed, the second movable guide abut with the abutment portion and is held on a position to form a second conveyance path through which the sheet is conveyed.
