COMMISSIONING OF A SIGNALIZATION DEVICE IN AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM

In a method for commissioning an elevator signalization device to a communication network of an elevator system, system configuration data is received and a network address of the elevator signalization device is inquired from the switching device. A location of the elevator signalization device as defined in the system configuration file is associated with the network address of the elevator signalization device, and the elevator signalization device is commissioned by transmitting a configuration data of the elevator signalization device to the network address of the elevator signalization device received through an association. A control device and a computer program product are disclosed.

Method of highly efficiently operating elevator by analyzing operation of elevator

The present invention relates to a method of highly efficiently operating an elevator by analyzing an operation of the elevator, including: a base information collecting step of measuring and collecting information on a change over time in magnitudes of current values of a driving unit when the driving unit for moving the elevator upward or downward moves the elevator upward in a normal state, measuring and collecting information on a change over time in magnitudes of current values of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward, classifying the measured information into driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator upward and driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward, and storing the driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator upward and the driving information of the driving unit when moving the elevator downward as base information of the driving unit.

Or relating to stairlifts

The disclosure defined by this invention relates to an electronic control facility for a stairlift. The control facility includes an installation mode in which a number of steps to be undertaken at the time of installation of the stairlift are defined. The control facility also includes a user mode in which the operation of the stairlift is controlled by a user. According to the invention, the control facility is configured so that the user mode cannot be entered until all steps in the installation mode have been completed.

Automatic software upgrade assistant for remote elevator monitoring experts using machine learning

A system for providing an automatic software upgrade assistant for remote elevator monitoring experts using machine learning. The system performs operations that include receiving a request from a requestor to install a software upgrade on a controller of an elevator component, the software upgrade dependent on at least one software program being installed on the controller. It is determined whether the at least one software program is installed on the controller. Based at least in part on determining that the at least one software program is installed on the controller: an elapsed time to complete the installation of the software upgrade on the controller is predicted; and an indication is output to the requestor that the software upgrade is permitted to be installed on the controller and the predicted elapsed time to complete the installation.

Elevator system operation adjustment based on component monitoring

An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator system includes a plurality of components respectively configured for at least one function during operation of the elevator system. A plurality of sensors are each associated with at least one of the components. Each sensor senses at least one characteristic of an actual performance of an associated one of the components. A processor is configured to receive respective indications from the sensors regarding the actual performance of the associated components, determine a difference between the actual performance and a desired performance of any of the components based on the respective indications, and determine an adjustment to the operation of the elevator system based upon the determined difference.

Multi-Input Call Panel for an Elevator System

A multi-input call panel for controlling an operation of an elevator system, is disclosed. The multi-input call panel includes a touchable interface associated with a plurality of touchable inputs arranged at different locations on the multi-input call panel; a touchless interface including a processor configured to receive readings of a sensor detecting motion in proximity to the touchable interface and executing a probabilistic classifier trained to output a probability of correspondence of the received readings with an intention to touch one or multiple touchable inputs from the plurality of touchable inputs; and a controller configured to control the operation of the elevator system according to a control command associated with a touchable input of the plurality of touchable inputs when the touchable input is touched on the touchable interface, the classifier outputs the probability of the intention to touch the touchable input above a threshold or both.

Crowd sensing for elevator systems

An aspect includes capturing crowd data associated with a lobby area of an elevator system. A dispatching schedule of one or more elevator cars of the elevator system is adjusted based on the crowd data. A notification of the adjustment to the dispatching schedule is output.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY MODIFYING A CAPACITY LIMIT OF AN ELEVATOR CAR
20220332540 · 2022-10-20 ·

Disclosed is an elevator system having: a controller; an elevator car operationally connected to the controller; a first sensor configured to provide first sensor data to the controller, wherein the controller is configured to identify a capacity parameter of the elevator car, wherein the capacity parameter includes one or more of: loaded weight; volume of available space; or volume of occupied space; a second sensor configured to provide second sensor data to the controller, wherein the controller is configured to determine that passengers remain outside the elevator car when the elevator car is stopped at a landing and its elevator doors are open; and wherein from the first sensor data and the second sensor data, the controller is configured to determine a reduced capacity limit for the elevator car as a function of the capacity parameter.

BIOMETRIC PRE-IDENTIFICATION
20230107755 · 2023-04-06 ·

A station device in a biometric pre-identification system uses identity to perform one or more actions. Identities are determined (such as via a backend) using biometric information. A biometric pre-identification device obtains biometric information and/or a digital representation thereof from a person approaching the station device. The biometric pre-identification device transmits such to the station device, facilitating the station to begin and/or perform various actions. The station device begins or performs the actions using the identity determined based on the biometric information before the person arrives at the station device.
