Aligning device and method for aligning a guide rail of an elevator system
11673772 · 2023-06-13 · ·

An aligning device for aligning a guide rail of an elevator system has lower and upper rail bracket parts and at least two movement elements. The lower rail bracket part is fixed to an elevator shaft wall and the upper rail bracket part holds a guide rail. The lower and upper rail bracket parts each have a connecting region for fixing to one another. The movement elements move the lower rail bracket part relative to the upper rail bracket part. Each of the movement elements interacts with both of the connecting regions of the rail bracket parts. Each of the movement elements is rotatable about an axis of rotation and interacts, eccentrically with respect to the axis of rotation, with at least one of the rail bracket parts so as to abut laterally opposite contact surfaces of this rail bracket part.

Elevator guide

An elevator guide having a base attached to an elevator component, a guide riding along a portion of a rail and a spring biasing the guide in contact with the rail. The guide includes one or more of the following: (i) a guide support member operably associated with the guide for movably supporting the guide so that the guide can move toward and away from a corresponding surface of the rail member wherein the guide support member has a plurality of spring engagement sections configured to vary a system effective spring rate; (ii) a roller including a non-metallic rim molded about a bearing; (iii) two independently adjustable stops and, (iv) an opening adjustment member mounted about a notch in the base to vary the distance between the base and the rail. The opening adjustment member has a width and/or depth greater than a width and/or depth of the notch.

A guide rail support of an elevator includes a guide rail bracket having a first side, a second side, a first mounting portion, and a second mounting portion. The first mounting portion is attachable to an elevator shaft and the guide rail bracket has inclined apertures in the second mounting portion. An adjustment bracket is configured to contact the second side at the second mounting portion, the adjustment bracket having inclined apertures configured to align with the inclined apertures of the guide rail bracket to define stem apertures. First and second rotating members are installed through the stem apertures. Each rotating member has (i) a rotating head that movably engages with a guide rail, (ii) an integrally formed stem configured to pass through a respective stem aperture, and (iii) a middle defining a length that is greater than a thickness of the guide rail bracket and the adjustment bracket.

METHOD FOR AT LEAST PARTIALLY AUTOMATED PLANNING OF AN INSTALLATION OF ELEVATOR COMPONENTS OF AN ELEVATOR SYSTEM
20210395046 · 2021-12-23 ·

An at least partially automated method for planning installation of elevator components in an elevator shaft delimited by shaft walls includes the steps: recording the course of the shaft walls; determining positions of door openings in the shaft; establishing a target course of a guide rail depending on the positions of the openings; and establishing target positions of the elevator components automatedly depending on the established guide rail target course. Adjustable ones of the elevator components have a part fixable to the shaft wall and a part movable in an adjustment range relative to the fixable part. Target positions of the movable parts are established for the adjustable components. An automated check is carried out to determine whether, when the movable part is positioned at the target position, the adjustment range is sufficient to fix the fixable part to the shaft wall and the results are output for further processing.

MODULAR STAIRWELL AND ELEVATOR SHAFT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A prefabricated modular stairwell and elevator shaft system is described. The system can include an end panel, a first side panel, a second elevator shaft panel, a second side panel, and a first elevator shaft panel. The prefabricated modular stairwell and elevator shaft system can also include stairwell components (including one or more treads, one or more landings, and one or more handrails), one or more counterweight rails, one or more counterweight brackets, a stairwell door, and a stairwell door frame.

A rack for a stairway guide suitable for providing good grip in curves comprises a bendable strip body, said bendable strip body comprising a first main side and a second main side, the first main side being provided with a series of equidistant engagement elements, each element being chosen from i) a hole, and ii) a protrusion. Both longitudinal sides are provided with a series of indentations. Being bendable, a stairway guide can be manufactured easily by bending the rack in the desired shape defined by the stairway guide.

Drive arrangement comprising a moveable rail segment

A drive arrangement includes a movable, rotatable rail segment of an elevator system. An electric motor moves the movable rail segment. The drive arrangement is configured to rotate the rail segment about an angle of rotation of less than 360°. An inverter unit provides electrical power to the electric motor and is configured to receive a control command relating to the position of the movable rail segment and provide the electrical drive power based on the control command. The drive arrangement forms two or exactly three drive segments. Each drive segment includes an inverter unit and a coil arrangement, which is supplied with electrical power by the assigned inverter unit. Each inverter unit includes a communication unit, which receives the control command. The communication units are configured to specify amongst themselves a master communication unit and to specify the remaining communication unit as slave communication units.
