Building shuttle box delivery system
A building shuttle box delivery system includes a plurality of delivery ducts connected in a delivery network. The system further includes a plurality of delivery vehicles configured to travel along the delivery ducts and are accessible via a plurality of access ports distributed along the delivery network. The system may further include hold devices, movement rails, positional pads, directional pads, crawler wheel assemblies and fall brakes disposed on the delivery ducts and delivery vehicles to facilitate travel throughout the delivery network.
Interactive touch-based car operating panel systems for elevator cars
Elevator cars having a plurality of elevator car panels defining a passenger compartment of the elevator car and an interactive touch-based car operating panel system. The interactive touch-based car operating panel system includes an interactive element extending around at least a portion of a periphery of the passenger compartment and located on at least one of the plurality of elevator car panels, the interactive element having an interactive surface facing the passenger compartment and a controller arranged to receive passenger input at the interactive surface and control an elevator car in response to the passenger input.
Gesture controlled door opening for elevators considering angular movement and orientation
A detection system is provided. The detection system includes gesture sensors installed on front panels of a set of hall doors. The gesture sensors detect motion. The detection system includes a gesture detection unit that controls operations of the gesture sensors. The gesture detection unit analyzes the motion detected by the gesture sensors and detects a pre-determined hand gesture format. The gesture detection unit activates a door open operation for the set of hall doors in response to detecting the pre-determined hand gesture format.
Elevator landing door leaf
The invention refers to an elevator door leaf comprising a door panel and a support structure having at least one profile. The door leaf comprises a vertically extending expansion member which is fixed to the door leaf only at one vertical level, whereby the expansion member consists of a material having a larger thermal expansion coefficient than the material of the door panel and/or of said profile.
ELEVATOR ENTRYWAY WITH MAGNETIC GUIDANCE FOR CONTROLLING DOOR PANEL MOTION
Disclosed is an elevator system having: a door panel configured for moving along a first axis for opening and closing of the door panel at an entryway, the door panel having a door magnet, the entryway including a sill, the sill having a sill magnet, wherein the door magnet and the sill magnet are configured for forming a first magnetic pairing, and wherein the first magnetic pairing guides the door panel to move along the first axis and prevents the door panel from moving in a lateral direction with respect to the first axis.
LIFT CAR FOR A LIFT INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR OPENING AND CLOSING A DOOR OPENING
An elevator car for an elevator installation may include at least one side wall having a doorway and an elevator car door. For opening and/or closing the doorway, the elevator car door can be moved at least partially parallel to the side wall on an outside of the side wall. In opening and/or closing, the elevator car door can be moved at least partially in a direction perpendicular to the side wall. In the closing process, the elevator car door can be at least partially sunk in the doorway. A coupling element may couple the elevator car door to a shaft door in at least one of opening or closing the elevator car door.
Fire-rated sliding glass elevator door
A fire-rated sliding elevator glass door is provided. The door includes a face panel, a liner, a fire-rated glass panel, and a retainer that retains the glass panel in the door frame. The elevator door is configured to pass a 90-minute fire rating test. The elevator door can be implemented as a single-speed side open elevator door, a single-speed center open elevator door, a two-speed side opening sliding elevator door, or a two-speed center opening sliding elevator door. A method of constructing the fire-rated elevator door is provided.
ELEVATOR DOOR WITH SENSOR FOR DETERMINING WHETHER TO REOPEN DOOR
Disclosed is a system for an elevator door of an elevator car, wherein a controller controls the elevator door to travel in a proximate direction when closing and travel in a distal direction when opening, the system including: a panel that forms an exterior surface of an elevator door, the panel including a front surface extending in a widthwise direction between a proximate end and an opposing distal end to form a front surface of the elevator door, the panel including a proximate end surface extending in a depthwise direction to form a proximate end surface of the elevator door, the proximate end surface of the panel comprising a resilient portion that is capable of engaging a sensor in the panel when the elevator door is closing, and thereafter the controller instructs the elevator door to reopen.
Removable elevator car door panel
An elevator car door system is provided, the system including an elevator car door panel (502, 600, 704) having a first retention member (510, 604, 720) and a suspension (504, 602, 706) having a second retention member (512, 606, 718) configured to releasably engage with the first retention member (510, 604, 720) to retain the elevator car door panel (502, 600, 704) in a first position. The elevator car door panel (502, 600, 704) is movable relative to the suspension (504, 602, 706) to a second position, wherein the second position is configured to enable the elevator car door panel (502, 600, 704) to be removed from the suspension (504, 602, 706).
Elevator door panel
The elevator door panel is formed of a composite material based on reinforcement fibres embedded in a polymer matrix material, the reinforcement fibres being arranged in the polymer matrix material so that the elevator door panel is stiff in a vertical plane, but can be bent to a curve around a vertical corner.
