SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING FLUID TO A CUTTING BLADE
An agricultural system includes a harvester that may include a chopper configured to cut crop residue from the crop. The harvester may also include a fluid applicator configured to apply harvest-aid fluid to the chopper. The agricultural system may also include an application control system that may include a memory and a processor. The application control system may be configured to receive crop harvest data indicative of a density or an expected density of crops within a field. The application control system may also determine a harvest-aid fluid application rate based on the crop harvest data. Further, the application control system may control the fluid applicator to apply the harvest-aid fluid to the chopper based on the harvest-aid fluid application rate.

Agriculture System and Method
An agricultural enhancement method for removing or overcoming soil fragipan, hardpan, or other natural and/or artificial soil compaction barriers is disclosed. These barriers prevent root and/or water penetration, which inhibits agricultural development. Consequently, removing and overcoming these barriers is beneficial to the soil and to agricultural yields.

Apparatus for applying a pesticide to perennial crops
An applicator assembly for applying an active substance to the root zone of a plurality of plants, the applicator assembly comprising: a subsoil applicator having a cutting element for generating an incision in the ground, an injector associated with the cutting element to allow the active substance to be injected into the incision; and a positioning device adapted to allow the position of the cutting element to change position such that an incision is generated in some material in the root zone while the cutting element moves over other material in the root zone.

System and method for monitoring an operational status of a shear pin for a ground-engaging assembly of an agricultural implement
A system for monitoring the operational status of shear pins for ground-engaging assemblies of agricultural implements includes a ground-engaging assembly including an attachment structure pivotably coupling the ground-engaging assembly to a frame of an agricultural implement, a ground-engaging tool pivotably coupled to the attachment structure at a pivot joint, and a shear pin at least partially extending through the attachment structure and the ground-engaging tool to prevent pivoting of the ground-engaging tool about the pivot joint. The system also includes an orientation sensor configured to generate data indicative of an orientation of the attachment structure, and a computing system communicatively coupled to the orientation sensor. The computing system is configured to monitor the orientation of the attachment structure and determine a change in an operational status of the shear pin based on detected changes in the monitored orientation of the attachment structure.

LITTER CONDITIONER WITH MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A litter conditioning vehicle has a drive system coupled to a chassis and configured to move the vehicle along a floor of an animal enclosure. A collection system is coupled to a front portion of the chassis and includes a flailer that can reduce a particle size of the litter as the collection system collects litter from the floor. A conditioning system is coupled along a length of the chassis and includes a drum and a conditioning element. The drum receives the collected litter and can be rotated to tumble the litter. The conditioning element can transfer energy such as, for example, microwave radiation to the litter being tumbled in the drum, thereby conditioning the litter. A dispersement system is coupled to a back portion of the chassis and is configured to disperse conditioned litter received from the conditioning system on the floor behind the vehicle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING BOLT SHEAR IN A SHANK ASSEMBLY OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
An agricultural system includes a tillage implement with a frame, a shank mount coupled to or integrally formed with the frame, a rotary sensor coupled to the shank mount, and a shank coupled to a bracket via a first fastener. The tillage implement also includes a rod assembly with a first end portion coupled to the bracket via a shear bolt that is configured to shear upon contact by the shank and a second end portion coupled to a rotary shaft of the rotary sensor.
