A moving walkway (1) comprises at least one endless belt (12) moving in a conveyance direction along a closed loop and a plurality of pallets (20). The closed loop comprises a conveyance portion (16) and a return portion (18) extending between two turnaround portions (5, 7), respectively. Each of the pallets (20) comprises at least one mounting portion (20a, 20b) rotatably attached to the at least one belt (12), and at least one mechanical connection (21) connecting the pallet (20) with the at least one mounting portion (20a) of an adjacent pallet (20).

Conveyors and people movers, such as escalators and moving walkways, for instance, may include a support member belt comprised of a plurality of support members guided on rails. The support members may be, for example, steps of an escalator or pallets of a moving walkway. Each support member may be secured to a pair of drag rollers that travels along the rails. Further, each support member may include a roller spindle that is held rotationally conjointly in or on a body of the support member. Between the roller spindle and the body of the support member, there may be a plug-in connection by way of which the roller spindle is maintained against an undercut under bias of a latching device.

Conveyors and people movers, such as escalators and moving walkways, for instance, may include a support member belt comprised of a plurality of support members guided on rails. The support members may be, for example, steps of an escalator or pallets of a moving walkway. Each support member may be secured to a pair of drag rollers that travels along the rails. Further, each support member may include a roller spindle that is held rotationally conjointly in or on a body of the support member. Between the roller spindle and the body of the support member, there may be a plug-in connection by way of which the roller spindle is maintained against an undercut under bias of a latching device.

A pallet conveyor (70), in particular a people conveyor, comprises a plurality of pallets (8) interconnected to form an endless pallet band which is moveable in a conveying direction, and a pallet chain (50) drivingly coupled to the pallet band. The pallet chain (50) comprises a plurality of pallet chain links (42; 44); the pitch of the pallet band is larger than the pitch of the pallet chain (50); and each pallet is (8) non-rotatably connected to or integrally formed with at least one of the pallet chain links (42; 44).

A pallet conveyor (70), in particular a people conveyor, comprises a plurality of pallets (8) interconnected to form an endless pallet band which is moveable in a conveying direction, and a pallet chain (50) drivingly coupled to the pallet band. The pallet chain (50) comprises a plurality of pallet chain links (42; 44); the pitch of the pallet band is larger than the pitch of the pallet chain (50); and each pallet is (8) non-rotatably connected to or integrally formed with at least one of the pallet chain links (42; 44).

A transportation element (7; 8; 9) for a people conveyor (70), which is configured to be moved in a conveying direction, comprises a lower flange (24); an upper flange (22); and an intermediate element (26) connecting the upper the flange (22) with the lower flange (24).

A conveying element (4) is employed in a conveying band (2) of a people conveyor (50) comprising at least one horizontal portion (81, 83, 85), includes a tread (6) and a riser (8). The conveying element (4) is configured such that the riser (8) at least partly forms an intermediate tread surface (74) in the at least one horizontal portion (81, 83, 85).

A conveying element (4) is employed in a conveying band (2) of a people conveyor (50) comprising at least one horizontal portion (81, 83, 85), includes a tread (6) and a riser (8). The conveying element (4) is configured such that the riser (8) at least partly forms an intermediate tread surface (74) in the at least one horizontal portion (81, 83, 85).

A plate belt of a moving walkway has plates arranged in succession in a movement direction and between two mutually parallel link chains formed by chain links of different widths. Each chain link is connected with one of the plates by at least one fastening device. The fastening devices include a fastening bolt and a cup washer, wherein the cup washer has a cup base ring and a cup collar encircling the cup base ring. The inner height of the cup collar corresponds with the thickness of at least one chain link strap of the chain link and the inner diameter of the cup collar is greater than the outer diameter of the region of the fastening bolt bearing against the cup base ring in the mounted state.
