SELF-STABILIZING SKATEBOARD
A self-stabilizing, one-wheeled electric skateboard may include improved features. In some examples, the vehicle includes a status indicator viewable through a slot formed in an upper surface of the board. In some examples, the vehicle includes a convertible carrying handle transitionable between stowed and deployed positions. In some examples, the vehicle includes an interchangeable fender and fender substitute that may be removably coupled to an upper surface of the board. In some examples, a motor controller of the vehicle may operate a field-oriented control (FOC) scheme configured to control the electric motor by manipulating a direct current aligned with a rotating rotor flux angle and a quadrature current defined at ninety degrees from the rotating rotor flux angle. In some examples, the motor controller may be configured to permit intuitive dismounting of the vehicle by tilting and/or moving the vehicle backward.
Skateboard deck-mountable lamp
A skateboard deck lamp is presented. The skateboard deck lamp includes a deck comprising truck holes, a standing surface, an underside surface. The truck holes were originally intended to couple the deck to a wheel axle truck assembly. The skateboard deck lamp also includes a truck assembly coupled to the underside surface. The truck assembly includes a base plate and a central portion. The base plate includes openings aligned with the truck holes, and the central portion includes a socket for receiving a light source. The skateboard deck lamp also includes a power supply conduit coupled to the standing surface. The power supply conduit receives electricity from a power source. The skateboard deck lamp also includes a lamp wire coupled with the power supply conduit and the socket via at least one truck hole of the truck holes.
Motorized wheel assembly with quick release
A motorized vehicle assembly includes an axle comprising a channel extending along a central axis of the axle, a socket positioned within the channel of the axle, and a motorized wheel configured to be mounted on an end the axle. The motorized wheel includes a boss configured to engage the end of the axle when the motorized wheel is mounted on the axle, an electric motor, a tire mounted on the rotor, and a plug positioned within the boss, the plug configured to engage with the socket when the motorized wheel is mounted on the axle. The electric motor includes a stator fixed to the boss and a rotor surrounding the stator, the rotor configured to rotate relative to the stator. The electric motor is configured to cause the rotor to rotate relative to the stator to cause the tire to rotate.
Display structure applicable with ice and outdoor conditions
The present invention discloses a display structure comprising at least one display module, wherein the display structure comprises at least one substrate layer comprising polymer, glass, ceramic or composite materials and integrated electrically conductive circuitry with electronics, where applicable, and light emitting devices; at least one electrically conductive layer, enabling intelligent control of the light emitting devices; wherein a display module comprises at least one coating or molded layer protecting the display structure from moist and other environmental effects; the display structure further comprises, when applicable, a number of structured, through-holes reaching through the whole display structure; the display structure is configured to be constructed from smaller, manufacturable sized display modules by interconnecting suitable amount of display modules into rows and columns; and the display structure is applicable to harsh environments comprising ice and outdoor conditions. Various coating layers and materials can be selected for the ice application use and for the outdoor use. The corresponding manufacturing method is also part of the inventive concept.
Digital video structural support system
A digital video ramp assembly incorporates process-formed structural LED tiles with modular components that join in a system of scalable structural LED tiles forming a complete LED display structure with integrated LED embedded tiles with interlocking and inter-trans-positioning features sometimes requiring additional structural framing.

Composite sporting equipment
A sporting equipment is disclosed. The sporting equipment may include a harness, and a protective plate. The protective plate may be integrally formed with the harness from a plurality of fibers that are continuous from the harness into the protective plate.
Apparatus and method for evenly illuminating a rotating element with single or minimal light source(s)
An apparatus for illuminating a rotating element of the apparatus with as few as a single light source and a method for assembling such apparatus are disclosed herein. The apparatus comprises a center, a clear substrate element that may rotate about the center, and a light source for evenly illuminating the clear substrate element. The light source is configured to emit light toward the clear substrate element at an angle, which is predetermined based on one or more attributes of the clear substrate element, such as the geometry and the index of refraction.
