Slurry wall grab having a hybrid drive
A slurry wall grab has a hybrid drive in turn having at least one pulley block, at least one hydraulic actuator, and at least one energy store. The hydraulic actuator and the pulley block open and/or close a grab jaw of the slurry wall grab. The energy store can be charged by actuating the pulley block.
EXCAVATION MACHINE HAVING A FRAME EQUIPPED WITH GUIDE WINGS
The disclosure concerns an excavation machine for making a trench into ground including a frame extending along a longitudinal direction, an excavation device disposed under the lower end part of the frame, the excavation machine further including at least a first guide device comprising at least a first guide flap protruding from a first lateral side of the frame outwardly of the frame, and wherein, considered in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, the first guide flap is inclined relative to the first lateral side.
COLLECTION DEVICE WITH RELEASABLE BOTTOM
A collection device can include an enclosure defining a top opening and a bottom opening; a latch coupled to the enclosure and configured to selectively secure a base to the enclosure proximate to the bottom opening; and an actuator coupled to the latch, the actuator controlled remotely and configured to open the latch and thereby release the base.

CLAMSHELL BUCKET ASSEMBLY
A dredging bucket having a head subassembly including an inner rotatable head and an outer head angularly supported by the inner head between level and tilted orientations. First and second opposing bucket halves supported by the outer head and pivotally actuating between closed and opened positions. A pair of T-links incorporated into spaced apart and coaxial pivot locations defined between the bucket halves, each of the T-links having a central stopping bar which, upon the bucket halves rotating to a maximum degree associated with the opened position, contacting end locations defined in upper edge profiles of the bucket halves in order to prevent further opening rotation.

Grabbing device
A grabbing device having a plurality of jaws which can be moved between an open position and a closed position to enable the device to grasp an object(s). The technology finds particular application in the forestry industry and moving logs.
Grapple
A grapple for mounting to a boom of a boom crane includes a body member for mounting to the end of a boom of a boom crane including a first wing member and a second wing member and opposing first and second jaw members. Each jaw is hingably coupled to the body member, and hinges with respect to the body member by the action of a hydraulic cylinder. A first end of the hydraulic cylinder is coupled to the jaw member and a second end of the hydraulic cylinder is coupled to a portion of one of the wing members. The first and second wing members extend to position the second end of each hydraulic cylinder rearward of an end of the boom of the boom crane or a coupling between the body member and the boom of the boom crane.

GRAPPLE POSITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A system and method of positioning a grapple of a skidder based on ground conditions and felled timber characteristics, or other material characteristics, such as conduit characteristics for pipe, being moved by the skidder. The vehicle includes a level sensor to determine slope of the vehicle based on ground slope and a traction device to determine a slip condition of the vehicle. Level sensors can include a gyroscope, an accelerometer, or a pitch/roll/yaw sensor. The grapple assembly is automatically positioned based on the vehicle slope, the slip condition, and the weight and/or the length of the felled timber being collected by the grapple.
