Grapple
A grapple for mounting to a boom of a boom crane includes a body member for mounting to the end of a boom of a boom crane including a first wing member and a second wing member and opposing first and second jaw members. Each jaw is hingably coupled to the body member, and hinges with respect to the body member by the action of a hydraulic cylinder. A first end of the hydraulic cylinder is coupled to the jaw member and a second end of the hydraulic cylinder is coupled to a portion of one of the wing members. The first and second wing members extend to position the second end of each hydraulic cylinder rearward of an end of the boom of the boom crane or a coupling between the body member and the boom of the boom crane.
Pneumatic claw-controlling apparatus of a claw crane
A pneumatic claw-controlling apparatus includes a claw, an air supply, a high-pressure channel, a medium-pressure channel and a low-pressure channel. The claw is normally in an opened position and movable to a closed position by working air. The air supply releases the working gas according to an air-supply signal. The high-pressure channel is operable to adjust the working gas to a high pressure and communicate the air supply with the claw according to a high-pressure signal. The medium-pressure channel is operable to adjust the working gas to a medium pressure and communicate the air supply with the claw according to a medium-pressure signal. The low-pressure channel is operable to adjust the working gas to a low pressure and communicate the air supply with the claw according to a low-pressure signal. The releasing channel is operable to block the claw from the atmosphere according to a vent-stopping signal.

CONTAINER SPREADER FOR LINKING A CONTAINER WITH A HOISTING INSTALLATION
A container spreader for coupling a container with a hoisting installation has a number of assemblies of a guiding plate and a displacing device connected thereto, for displacing the guiding plate between an active position A and an inactive position B. The displacement device has a hydraulic swivel motor provided with an output shaft which is connected to the guide plate via connecting elements. A hydraulic unit is coupled to the swivel motor via coupling device for supplying and discharging hydraulic oil from and to the swivel motor. By applying a hydraulic swivel motor, a final transmission can be omitted and no valves are required for keeping the hydraulic motor at pressure. As a result, an energy-efficient and inexpensive assembly has been obtained.
Material handling device for separating feed for livestock
A material handling device for the loosening of forage, in particular silage from a silo. The material handling device is provided with a grab device provided with grab device members of which the edges facing towards each other are provided with cutting elements. The grab device members are movable between a closed position and an opened position, wherein the cutting elements are positioned at an angle with the vertical. This angle is in the range of 25 to 25 degrees, preferably 15 to 15 degrees with the vertical.

GRAPPLE CARRIAGE
A skyline log conveying system having a skyline for extending between two elevated supports, one at or above a landing at which logs are deposited and another at a lower position at least as low as an area from which logs are to be moved. A carriage is rollably mounted to the skyline. A grapple is suspended from the carriage, the grapple having closed and opened positions for grasping and releasing logs. A hydraulic pump is mounted to the carriage. A rotatable member is driven by the skyline with the rolling of the carriage on the skyline for driving the hydraulic pump to generate hydraulic pressure. At least one accumulator is in hydraulic communication with the hydraulic pump, the at least one accumulator capable of storing pressure when hydraulic pressure is transmitted to it by the hydraulic pump. A hydraulic ram is hydraulically interconnected with the at least one accumulator and mounted to the grapple to selectively close the grapple to facilitate the grasping of logs.
