A jib system for a vehicle crane having a telescopic jib and a bracing apparatus that can be coupled to the jib by its base frame, where the jib has a roller head and a lifting cable that is deflected via the roller head. Only minor structural measures and preparations are required for automatically rigging and de-rigging the vehicle crane, including by providing at least one transfer rocker that can be integrated in an articulated manner between the jib and the bracing apparatus. By the pivotable support of the transfer rocker on the jib, the base frame configured for coupling to the lifting cable can be displaced by a change in the length of the lifting cable that is effected in the coupled state on a circular path around its roller head from a set-down position of the bracing apparatus to a set-up position of the bracing apparatus and back.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING THE LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF A TELESCOPIC CRANE BOOM

A telescopic boom that includes a plurality of extensible boom sections and a power source for delivering translational force to the boom sections. The boom further includes at least one rope transiting between boom sections wherein a first section is extending, and the second section is adjacent to the extending sections. The rope is redirected by at least one sheave mounted to the adjacent section and further redirected by at least one sheave mounted to the extensible section.

Lightweight flexible tensioning system for construction equipment

Components and systems for a flexible tensioning member for construction equipment. A tensioning member is comprised of a fiber having a specific tensile strength greater than 1,000 kilonewton meters per kilogram. The tensioning member connects two components and has an attachment allowing the tensioning member to flex relative to a component. The attachment may provide a system for connecting multiple tensioning members.

CRANE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed are a crane and a control method therefor. The crane comprises a body, a boom, a luffing mechanism, a tension sensor, and a controller. One end of the boom is rotatably connected with the body. The luffing mechanism is respectively connected to the body and the boom. The tension sensor is disposed on the luffing mechanism, and the tension sensor is used for detecting a tension value of the luffing mechanism to the boom. The controller is electrically connected to the tension sensor and the luffing mechanism, and the controller is configured to determine that the arm length of the boom exceeds an arm length threshold if the tension value is greater than a tension threshold.

The invention relates to a tower crane having a slewing platform, an adjustable boom articulated in a derricking manner on the slewing platform and counter-ballast mounted on the slewing platform, characterized in that an adjusting mechanism is provided that permits a positional change to the counter-ballast independent of the luffing angle of the adjustable boom.

Mobile crane having a separable a frame

The disclosure relates to a mobile crane, such as a crawler crane, comprising an undercarriage having a traveling gear, a superstructure rotatably supported about a vertical axle on the undercarriage, a boom connected in an articulated manner to the superstructure pivotable about a horizontal axle, an A frame connected to the boom via a guying means, and a retraction mechanism by means of which the A frame is pivotable. In accordance with the disclosure, the A frame is separable and comprises a pole connected in an articulated manner to the superstructure and a folding pole releasably connected to the pole.

Crane, method for assembling a crane and method for disassembling a crane

The invention pertains to a crane, a method for assembling a crane and a method for disassembling a crane. The crane comprises: a first mast which is tiltable relative to the crane base around a first mast pivot axis into an inclined mast operating position; and a receiving device, which is adapted to receive the mast section of the first mast, which receiving device has a receiving device central axis parallel to the central mast axis, and a mast section guide which is adapted to guide movement of the mast section relative to the receiving device in the direction of the receiving device central axis, wherein the receiving device is connected to the crane base and the first mast is tiltable relative to the crane base around the first mast pivot axis.

CRANE, CRANE ASSEMBLY METHOD AND DISASSEMBLY METHOD

A crane includes a jib posture retention device that retains a jib in a frontward tilt posture to a boom. The jib posture retention device includes a jib mast that holds a rope connection part at a tensioning position separate from a jib proximal end and a boom distal end backward thereof to render a jib-side support rope and a boom-side support rope linearly tensioned with the jib in the frontward tilt posture. The jib mast is shiftable to a tension form of holding the rope connection part at a tensioning position in an uprise posture and a looseness allowing form of locating the rope connection part at a looseness allowing position closer to the boom distal end than the tensioning position and closer to the jib proximal end than the tensioning position to allow the jib-side support rope and the boom-side support rope to be loosened.
