Hand chain lift motor conversion device
10221052 · 2019-03-05 ·

A manual to motorized chain lift conversion system converts a manually operated chain lift into a motor operated chain lift. The system includes a chain lift having a drive shaft which is exposed when a chain wheel is removed from the chain lift. An adapter is coupled to the lift frame. A motor is coupled to the adapter such that the motor engages and rotates the drive shaft of the chain lift. A battery is coupled to the adapter and electrically coupled to the motor wherein the motor is powered by the battery.

RIGGING BASKET

A rigging assembly has no loose parts that an up-rigger may drop. The rigging assembly includes a length of steel cable terminating in a loop at each end. One loop extends through an oblong master link, while the other loop extends through a swivel hook. The ground-rigger can attach the hook of a hoist's chain to the master link on the ground. The ground-rigger can then tie the up-rigger's rope onto the master link. The up-rigger then pulls the rigging assembly and the hoist's chain up to the beam, leaving the master link and chain under the beam. Then the up-rigger grabs the hook end of the rigging basket assembly, bends it over the beam, and attaches the swivel hook end to the master link, thus creating a loop around the beam to support the hoist's chain and load, which is known in the industry as creating a basket.

A line puller designed to accept a Working line (15) through a Working Line Fairlead (14), directing the line around a Capstan (21), and through a brake (28). This line puller is mainly driven by gears or friction rotational devices (38), driving the internal face or cogs (36) of a Capstan. The design allows users to load a Working Line (15) from midsection not requiring the end of the line to load the puller. The puller can be hard mounted or Soft mounted using an Anchor Line (44) fed through incorporated Anchor Fairleads (20). Multiple gear rations allow users to pull objects at different rates.

A chain inlet/outlet, from which a load chain on a load side is hauled in or paid out, has a first guide groove having a first longitudinal groove and a first lateral groove. The chain inlet/outlet also has a second guide groove that is provided on a deeper side of a body part than the first guide groove is and has a second longitudinal groove and a second lateral groove. The first guide groove has narrowed parts that determine, when each link of the load chain is pulled in, into which of the first longitudinal groove and the first lateral groove the link is introduced, and expanded groove parts having a width larger than the groove width of the narrowed parts and provided on the outer side, farther away from the center of the chain inlet/outlet than the narrowed parts.

Provided is a chain block with which a reduction in size can be achieved while inhibiting a reduction in strength. A chain clock is provided with: a load-sheave hollow shaft which is provided with a load sheave that rotates to feed a load chain, said load-sheave hollow shaft having a hollow core along the axial direction thereof; a drive shaft which is inserted into the hollow core, and which is provided with a flange portion protruding radially outward from one end side to a base side of a separate gear part; and a reduction gear member provided with first reduction gear part which meshes with the gear part. An accommodating recess is provided at the one end side of the hollow core, said accommodating recess having a bottom part which is where the flange part is positioned, and which is in contact with the flange part. An inclined portion, which gradually inclines further towards the gear part side as said inclined portion approaches a center side in the radial direction, is provided to the flange portion. A chamfered portion is provided to a side of the reduction gear member, said side being the side nearest the flange portion.
