VEHICLE-POWERED DEVICE TO CHANGE VEHICLE POSITION

A system includes a platform to support a vehicle on a first side of the platform and a passive motion device arranged on a second side of the platform, opposite the first side, to move upon actuation. A mechanical actuator actuates the passive motion device based on movement of one or more wheels of the vehicle to change a position of the vehicle. The position of the vehicle relative to the platform is unchanged and the passive motion device is actuated by only the movement of the one or more wheels of the vehicle to change the position of the vehicle.

Lift assembly for a vehicle

An integrated lift and dolly is presented which includes a lift mechanism for elevating a vehicle while simultaneously positioning wheels underneath to enable moving the vehicle as the vehicle's wheels are elevated off the ground. The lift assembly can further elevate the supporting frame to remove weight from the wheels of the lift assembly to allow long term storage without relying on the wheels to support the weight of the vehicle. This integrated lift and dolly lifts and supports the vehicle for storage and also facilitates easier service, inspection and cleaning.

Lifting platform for lifting vehicles
11230462 · 2022-01-25 ·

A lifting platform with two lifting devices distanced from one another and oriented to a common center axis of the lifting platform, with a working space for lifting/lowering vehicles therebetween. Each lifting device includes a vertically movable carrier. Each carrier receives at least two support arms, respectively pivotably-mounted about a pivot-axis on the carrier, the arms being orientable between a starting position parallel to the center axis to a use position in the working space. Each carrier longitudinal axis is parallel to the center axis, and a straight connecting line extends between the at least two pivot axes of each carrier to be oriented in an acute angle to the carrier longitudinal axis, such that two of the opposite pivot axes arranged to the center axis in a mirror-inverted manner have a greater distance to the center axis than the other at least two pivot axes of the carriers.

Towable alignment lift

The addition of axle less wheels to an alignment lift thereby forming a singular towable embodiment capable of travel on highways and performing multiple services efficiently outside the confines of a fixed repair facility. The axle less aspect of the improvement affords the ability to tow the embodiment and when raised offers a hollowed-out space clearance FIG. 3/3 previously not possible due to axles and cross member frames limitations. It becomes possible to, remove and install heavy undercarriage components that require varying types of jacking under the vehicle. FIG. 1/1 and FIG. 3/3. An alignment is required when components are replaced or disturbed. An improvement is apparent where addition of axle less wheels, FIG. 1 item 2 the detachable tow hitch coupler frame FIG. 2/2 or 3/3 items 3 to the alignment lift FIG. 1 item 1 thereby transforming it into a singular towable embodiment capable of raising and hauling.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CARGO TRANSFER VEHICLE AND METHOD

A multi-functional cargo transfer vehicle and method. The multi-functional cargo transfer vehicle comprises a vehicle body, a cargo conveying rack, a lifting mechanism, and a control system; the vehicle body is located below for providing a platform and support; the cargo conveying rack is located above the vehicle body and includes a plurality of layers for loading and unloading cargoes; the lifting mechanism is located on the outer side of the cargo conveying rack for lifting the cargo conveying rack; the control system is located on the vehicle body for controlling omni-directional driving, accurate butt joint, and automatic loading and unloading of the multi-functional cargo transfer vehicle. Accordingly, a multi-functional cargo transfer vehicle is adopted such that the multi-task functions of loading and unloading, transporting, and conveying of cargoes are simultaneously realized, thereby efficiently completing the transferring process of cargoes from a storage place to a transporting carrier.

PLATFORM LIFT FOR RAILROAD CAR MOVING VEHICLE

A railroad car moving vehicle comprises a chassis, the chassis including at least two ground wheels and at least two track wheels; a platform moveably mounted on the chassis; a platform lifting apparatus configured to move the platform between a raised position and a lowered position relative to the chassis, the platform lifting apparatus including a platform lifting cylinder operatively coupled between the chassis and the platform; and at least one locking leg, the locking leg positionable between an extended position and a stowed position, the locking leg preventing lowering of the platform when in the extended position.

Accessory modular device for AGV
11780718 · 2023-10-10 · ·

An accessory device for use with an automated guided vehicle (AGV) to assist loading and unloading of components onto the AGV for transport by the AGV. In one example, an electric motor, two lifting devices and an inverted omega-shaped upper platform are used to selectively raise and lower the component. In another example an accessory is positioned on a central portion of the upper platform to engage a pallet to further assist loading, unloading and positioning of the pallet relative to the AGV.

Mobility base

A lift device includes a base including at least two rotatable wheels, a retractable lift assembly, and a coupler. The retractable lift assembly includes a first end coupled to the base and a second end that is movable relative to the base. The coupler is attached to the retractable lift assembly a distance from the first end and is configured to detachably couple the retractable lift assembly to an electro-mechanical device. The coupler includes a first flange, a second flange, a pair of diametrically opposed mounting studs, and a pin. Each one of the pair of mounting studs extends from a respective one of the first flange and the second flange. The pin extends through at least one of the first flange or the second flange below the pair of mounting studs.

A lift vehicle comprises a base having a plurality of wheels, a battery arranged within the base, a drive motor powered by the battery and configured to drive at least one of the plurality of wheels and propel the base, a retractable lift including a first end coupled to the base and being movable between an extended position and a retracted position, a work platform supported by a second end of the retractable lift, and a linear actuator having a lift motor with a rotor. The lift motor is powered by the battery, and the linear actuator is coupled to the retractable lift so that rotation of the rotor moves the retractable lift between the extended position and the retracted position. The lift vehicle further includes an electromagnetic brake coupled to a first side of the lift motor.

Rack and apparatus for supporting wheels

In the context of service and maintenance of heavy road vehicles, apparatus is provided that is configured to engage and support a rack and manoeuvre it into position relative to the vehicle to facilitate removal and installation of the wheels. The rack has a frame with a base and a pair of arms, each arm being pivotally attached to opposite sides of the base to pivot between an open configuration and a folded configuration. The apparatus may be expanded and contracted between an expanded configuration, where the rack engagement assembly is configured to engage the rack in the open configuration, and a contracted configuration where the rack engagement assembly is configured to engage the rack in the folded configuration.
