Dual Tire Chain Block
20200254832 · 2020-08-13 ·

A dual tire chain block for adding and removing chains to dual tire trucks includes a block base having a front side sloping from a bottom side to a top side to form a front ramp. A pair of chain mounts is coupled to the inner side and the outer side proximal the front side. A capture chain is coupled to the pair of chain mounts. The capture chain extends between the pair of chain mounts to form a U-shape adjacent the front side of the block base. The capture chain is configured to be driven on by a truck to prevent the block base from slipping away as the truck tires climb the front ramp to rest an inner tire on the top side to elevate an outer tire to receive or remove a snow chain.

A balance and lift parking apparatus increases parking space availability and therefore allows users to park more than one automobile vertically. The balance and lift parking apparatus includes a support structure, a parking platform, a first wheel track, and a second wheel track. The support structure is the structural base of the balance and lift parking apparatus. Further, the support structure allows the balance and lift parking apparatus to support the weight of automobiles. Moreover, the support structure provides a clearance area from the ground surface which allows at least one automobile to be parked. The parking platform provides a surface on which at least one automobile may traverse onto. The first wheel track and the second wheel track are used to guide at least one automobile onto and along the parking platform.

EXPEDITIONARY HEAVY ARMOR RAMP SYSTEM
20200140214 · 2020-05-07 ·

A military deployable ramp system assembled from sectional modules and used to load/unload heavy wheeled and tracked vehicles on/off rail cars and other transport platforms. The design of the system affords potential to handle such vehicles in a wide range of environments, particularly at remote train track locations. The assembled modular ramp consists of two main parallel load-bearing ramp tracks, connected to each other via central bridging supports. Sections slide together vertically and connect using structural angles which are retained in opposing guide channels, eliminating the need for fixing hardware. Once assembled the ramp can be dismantled by lifting off each section clear of the others in order. The ramp sections independently find their own level relative to each other on unprepared ground. Additional restraint is provided by integrated lashing points for sections to be tethered together to enhance its assembled rigidity.

METHOD FOR LOADING A FOUR-WHEELED VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED TRANSPORT CONVEYOR

A method for loading a four-wheeled vehicle using a transporter comprising wedging arms that are arranged so as to be positioned on either side of the tread of a wheel of the vehicle to be loaded, and wheel clamping detection means, the method comprising the following steps: a step of moving the transporter until a wedging arm comes into contact with the tread of a tire, a step of moving the transporter along the longitudinal axis of the transporter for a predetermined distance or until a predetermined force is detected, a step of stopping the transporter from moving and generating a signal representative of the mobility state of the vehicle: moving or stationary.

Stacked vehicle ramp

The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle maintenance equipment, in particular, to a stacked vehicle ramp. The vehicle ramp includes a base frame. One end of the base frame is fixedly connected with a sloping plate, and both sides of the base frame are fixedly provided with a side plate. The other end of the base frame is fixedly connected with a rear plate, and a higher end of the sloping plate is fixedly connected with a top plate that is horizontally arranged. The sloping plate, the top plate and the rear plate are all fixedly connected between the two side plates, and one end of the top plate away from the sloping plate is fixedly connected to the rear plate. A first left groove and a first right groove are provided on the sloping plate, and the top plate is provided with a second left groove and a second right groove. The first left groove and the second left groove are both formed with left arc-shaped depressions, and both positions of the first right groove and the second right groove corresponding to the left arc-shaped depressions are formed with right arc-shaped depressions. The two side plates are provided with a plurality of arc-shaped grooves. The application has the effect that the support strength of the vehicle ramp can be greatly enhanced, and the vehicle ramp can also support the vehicle even by using lightweight materials.

Motorcycle loader
