A scissor lift with a height sensor system includes a scissors assembly including at least one scissor leg configured to lower and raise a platform, an angle sensor configured to sense the angular position of a pivot pin about which the scissor leg pivots, and a processor configured to calculate a height of the platform from the angular position sensed by the angle sensor. The processor may also be configured to control the lift actuator in response to the height of the platform calculated from the angular position sensed by the angular sensor. The angle sensor may be a magnetic angle sensor configured to sense the angle of a magnetic angular marker attached to the pivot pin.

Provided is a lift point alignment device (30) including a mirror body (40) detachably attached to a vehicle body holding tool (20), the mirror body (40) including a mirror surface (42) facing upward while the mirror body (40) is attached to the vehicle body holding tool (20), and a light source (50) provided in the mirror body (40) to project light in a vertical direction toward a lower part of a vehicle (1) from the mirror surface (42) of the mirror body (40) attached to the vehicle body holding tool (20), wherein an alignment state of the vehicle body holding tool (20) with respect to lift points (2) of the vehicle (1) is allowed to be recognized based on a match state between an image of the light source (50) and an image of the lift points (2) of the vehicle (1) reflected in the mirror surface (42) of the mirror body (40) observed from a side of the vehicle.

A saddle and removable extension for a floor jack having a storage assembly is disclosed. A saddle and extension assembly of the floor jack includes a jack saddle fastened to a mounting bracket of a lifting arm and an extension having a flange and an extension saddle. To withstand off-center loading conditions when the floor jack is in an upper extended position, at least one extension fastener is operable to engage with at least one extension bore by fastening the extension to the jack saddle and the mounting bracket of the lifting arm. A storage assembly is provided on a body of the floor jack to house the extension during storage or transport.

In a vehicle lift device (100) including a pair of right and left lifting frames (10) installed on right and left sides of a maintenance work area (A) of a vehicle to be serviced (1), and a pair of front and rear swing arms (20, 50) supported at two respective front and rear positions of a lifting platform (11) included in each of the lifting frames (10), and allowed to be lifted and lowered along with the lifting platform (11), each of the swing arms (20, 50) includes a link coupling body (20A, 50A) obtained by connecting a plurality of links, a base link (21, 51) included in the link coupling body (20A, 50A) is fixed to the lifting platform (11) of the lifting frame (10), and a distal link (22, 52) included in the link coupling body (20, 50A) includes a vehicle holding tool (30, 60).

In an example, an adaptor for a lift jack may include a pair of coextensive segments having a pair of openings at a first end, and defining a space to receive a portion of a lift jack at a second end. The adaptor may also include a coupling pin that is to be inserted through the pair of openings to secure the adaptor to a vehicle. The second end of the coextensive segments may have a notch on each segment to receive the portion of the lift jack.

A vehicle lift adapter system in one embodiment includes a central support bar including a mounting portion configured to be removably mounted on a jack arm of a floor jack, a first outer support arm supported by the central support bar, a first wheel capture base with a first middle portion located between a first and a second base end portion, the first wheel capture base operably connected to the first outer support arm, a first wheel capture arm configured to be supported by the first end portion, and a second wheel capture arm configured to be supported by the second end portion, wherein the first end portion and the second end portion are arranged such that a weight applied to the first wheel capture arm and the second wheel capture arm is substantially centered on the longitudinal axis.

This invention details a portable Vertical Platform Lift. This Portable Vertical Platform Lift (PVPL) is specifically designed to be transported and set up by a single individual and be used by a disabled person needing to enter a building or structure that is at a height of approximately two to three steps. The device is also useful for material handlers. This design has three key enablers. The first key enabler and most critical to the design is a two-stage lift mechanism. The first stage provides considerable leverage albeit at a slower lift speed to initially raise the platform from a low-profile position. The low-profile position is necessary for ease of ingress onto or egress off of the lift platform. The second stage provides increased vertical lift speed to the desired top position. The second key enabler is the light-weight design. The third key enabler is the compact design.

A low profile adapter is removably engageable with a two-post vehicle lift system. The low profile adapter includes a support member. A base plate is rigidly connected to a bottom portion of the support member. The base plate extends longitudinally from a first side of the support member. At least one capture plate is rigidly connected to the support member and extends longitudinally from an opposing second side of the support member. The at least one capture plate is operable to pivotally engage with at least one swing arm platform of the vehicle lift system. The low profile adapter includes one of a height adjustment mechanism and a outrigger arm capture mechanism.

A lifting and tilting device for motorcycles that engages the rear axle portion of a motorcycle and rotatably lifts the bike on its axle pivot point to a near vertical upstanding position for ease of access and cleaning. The device has a pair of axle portion engagement supports with a hydraulic jack and engagement arm engageable on the frame of the bike. A wide support base has pairs of frame stabilization extensions to support the bike in its upright rotated position.

A platform boat lift safety shut-off apparatus includes a flexible safety cable supported below the fixed deck of the lift and operatively connected to the motor or other drive system of the lift through a shut-off switch. The cable is assembled and positioned such that during elevation of the lift platform, the body part of a person extending over an edge of the platform engages the cable and exerts a force on the cable, which operates the switch to deactivate the drive system and stop elevation of the platform before the platform reaches the level of the fixed deck.
