Process and system for managing a bowling centre
A process and a system for managing a bowling center, which includes one or more bowling lanes along which a bowl is rolled, one or more pin setting up machines at one end of the lane and one or more bowlers' bays at the opposite end of the lane, one or more overhead monitors or videos above the lane, one or more consoles or keyboards located at the one or more lanes, respectively, and allowing a user to enter data, an electronic control system set up to manage the bowling center, and in particular, a score program which calculates the score of the games played at the bowling center and displays the score, in particular at the respective overhead monitor. A visual signal is emitted at the respective lane to indicate that the lane is open and waiting for users.

Bowling training apparatus and method
A bowling training apparatus and method of use that is operable to facilitate the identity of a bowling ball on a lane at a desired point. The bowling training apparatus specifically identifies a board number of a bowling lane that the bowling ball was located at a particular point and displays the board number to the user. The bowling training apparatus further includes a housing having a central processing unit disposed therein. A sensor assembly is secured to the housing wherein the sensor assembly is coupled to the housing utilizing a mount. The mount is configured to permit vertical adjustment of the sensor assembly. A ball position sensor is integrated into the sensor assembly. The housing further includes a display screen configured to display the board number location of a passing bowling ball. The bowling training apparatus further measures temperature, speed and relative humidity.

RECREATIONAL/SPORT APPARATUS
A recreational/sport apparatus comprises a playing field, on which a target is arranged protruding from a surface of the playing field, and a ball adapted to be shot toward the target. Conveniently, the apparatus comprises means apt to perform the reconstruction of the trajectory of the ball, those means comprising at least one first camera and at least one second camera apt to simultaneously acquire a plurality of first images and second images, respectively, of the ball, and a central unit which receives the first and second images by means of data reception/transmission means and which processes those first and second images in predetermined consecutive time-intervals, the central unit calculating the two-dimensional position of the ball in each of those first and second images, so as to determine, at each time-interval, the three-dimensional position of the ball by comparing those two-dimensional positions, wherein the target is divided into a plurality of target areas and the central unit is apt to recognize a coordinate at which one of the target areas is intersected by the trajectory of the ball.
Systems and methods for masking pinsetters of bowling lanes
Systems and methods for masking pinsetters of a bowling center. The systems comprise a modular masking unit that comprises a first array of displays structurally supported by a support frame. The support frame is mounted to the ground so that the array of displays extends over a pair of bowling lanes and masks the p insetters for the pair of bowling lanes. The displays are arranged such that they can be independently controlled to provide a plurality of small displays or collectively controlled to provide a single large multi-panel display. The support frame is height adjustable such that a distance between the array of displays and the ground is adjustable (e.g., so that the masking unit can fit in between or in conjunction with all types of pinsetters, bowling scoring systems, and/or other masking units).

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND PREDICTING BOWLING LANE ERRORS
A computer-implemented method, comprising obtaining, in real-time, video data of a video depicting at least a portion of a bowling pinsetter, detecting at least one of a bowling pin, a distributor, or a pin station in a video frame of the video, determining a class associated with the detected at least one bowling pin, distributor, or pin station, the class being one of a set of defined classes for identifying an error state of the bowling pinsetter, and in response to determining that the class is indicative of pinsetter error, activating a stopper component for temporarily pausing operation of the bowling pinsetter.
