SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A LIQUID, IN PARTICULAR IN A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A vessel contains a quantity of liquid and has a duct connected to an outlet of the vessel. A dispensing device can be actuated in order to cause the quantity of liquid to flow out of the vessel through the duct. A color sensor is also included, which faces towards a monitoring region situated in one of the vessel, the duct and the dispensing device. The color sensor is configured for providing a color signal indicative of the color of the quantity of liquid arriving at the monitoring region. A control device is configured for receiving the color signal from the color sensor and for actuating the dispensing device as a function of the color signal. A method is for dispensing the quantity of liquid from the vessel.
WALL MOUNTED BEVERAGE DISPENSING SYSTEM
This disclosure includes devices, systems, apparatuses, and implementations associated with a wall-mounted beverage dispensing system. The beverage dispensing system is configured to fit between standard space between studs. In some implementations, the studs may provide the sole support for the beverage dispensing system. The beverage dispensing system may include a filter that is accessible for replacement without the use for tools.
Automatic toothpaste dispensing device for proper tooth care
Automatic toothpaste dispensing device for due tooth care comprises device holder, which can be divided into a control box, and a toothpaste rack. There are installed a camera, display and a control panel respectively in central, upper and lower part of the said control box. Said toothpaste rack with several toothpaste drums fixed thereon is located to the right side of the control box. Said toothpaste drums include housings, and in the middle of the inner wall of the housings are mounted fixing brackets. On the fixing brackets are installed toothpaste extrusion pumps, above them are toothpaste entrances, and below them toothpaste exits. Below the fixing brackets are installed toothbrush hangers, and on the bottom of inner cavity of the toothbrush hangers squeezing buttons are fixed. The present invention analyzes the teeth images, estimates teeth conditions, and subsequently obtains an appropriate tooth care plan with the processor.
CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A container assembly is disclosed. The container assembly includes a container that contains a volume. Selected portions of the container assembly may be removable. A spigot assembly may be removed and associated with a filter assembly.
Method and apparatus for calibrating remaining doses in a refillable dispenser
An exemplary dispenser includes a housing and a refill unit. The refill unit being removable and replaceable. The dispenser also includes a processor, memory, a dose count stored in memory that is indicative of the number of doses in a full refill unit, a level sensor for detecting a predetermined level the refill unit and a dispense count indicative of the number doses of product dispensed from the refill unit. In addition, the dispenser includes memory and has logic stored in the memory for recalibrating the number of doses remaining in the refill unit as a function of the dose count, the number of doses of product dispensed and the predetermined level of product. The number of doses of product remaining in the refill unit may be displayed on the dispenser, on a remote station, or on both the dispenser and a remote station.
Wireless control system for dispensing beverages from a bottle
A pour spout, for attaching to a bottle, has a first wireless transceiver and a valve for selectively controlling flow of a beverage from the bottle. A server interface, adapted to be carried by a person who serves beverages, has a second wireless transceiver. A control unit is provided to wirelessly communicate with the second transceiver. In one mode, the pour spout transmits a spout identifier to the server interface, which responds by transmitting the spout identifier and a server identifier to the control unit. The control unit responds with a reply transmission causing the server interface to command the pour spout to open the valve. In another mode, a person selects a cocktail, that results in the control unit sending designations of a plurality of liquor ingredients to the server interface. The server interface controls dispensing each of the plurality of liquor ingredients.
System and Method of Use for Dispensing Liquids from a Container
A method for dispensing a beverage from a bottle that includes communicating a dispensing authorization message from a control unit to at least one of a server interface carried by a beverage server and a pour spout secured to a bottle, wherein the dispensing authorization message at least one of includes or initiates a dispensing command, and wherein the pour spout responds to the dispensing command by opening a spout valve through which a beverage flows from the bottle and out of the pour spout.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STRAIN GAGE WATER MONITORING
A system and method determines an amount of water and water flow rate in a water dispenser system including a container/bottle, using a strain gage device(s) mounted on a structure or plane in relationship to the container/bottle. One or more strain gages are configured in a position to measure force per unit area, exerted by a portion of the water container/bottle in a normal or direction substantially perpendicular to a surface or plane on which the strain gage device(s) are mounted. The portion of the container/bottle is positioned in direct or indirect contact with the one or more strain gages to produce a strain gage signal representative of the amount of water in the container/bottle and periodic sampling of the strain gage signal is representative of flow rate of water from the container/bottle. Signals from the strain gage(s) are processed in a manner that allows the amount and rate of consumption of water to be monitored and determined automatically on-site or remotely.
ELECTRONIC POURER
An electronic pourer to dispense a liquid is described. In one embodiment, the electronic pourer includes an orientation determining subsystem configured to determine an orientation (angular rotation) of the electronic pourer, a wireless communication subsystem, and a processing system. The processing system can be configured to receive an angular rotation of the electronic pourer, determine whether liquid has been dispensed from a dispensing chamber of the electronic pourer, and transmit electronic pourer data to an external computing device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LIQUID DISPENSING USING OPTICAL TIME OF FLIGHT SENSOR
An apparatus and method are provided for optical liquid level determination in a liquid dispensing system. Accurate volume dispensing based on the level determination is also provided. An optical sensor device emits a light signal downward into the tank toward the liquid, and received a portion of the light signal that has been reflected upwardly by a surface at the top of the liquid. A processing system calculates the height of the liquid in the tank based on a time of flight measurement of the light signal. A head pressure of the liquid over a controllable dispensing valve located at the bottom of tank may then be calculated using the calculated height of the liquid in the tank. An open time for the controllable dispensing valve is then calculated, based on the calculated head pressure, in order to dispense a predetermined volume of liquid from the tank.
