Spout-Connector Assembly for Fluid Dispensing from Flexible Bags
The present invention relates to a universal fitment, method of assembling the universal fitment, and method of dispensing liquids using such universal fitment. The universal fitment of the present invention has features to engage a quick-connect-disconnect dispensing connector or a screw-on connector dispensing connector for the dispensing of liquids and semi-liquids from a collapsible bag.
FITMENT FOR DISPENSING FLUIDS FROM A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
This invention relates to a fitment assembly used for dispensing liquids from flexible bags. The connector engages a valved fitment for a container for holding and dispensing fluid. The fitment includes a spout connected to the container and a sliding internal valve body and an external valve body securely positioned within the spout. The connector has a fitment end mateable with the fitment so as to compress the top edge of the external valve body so as to form a seal between the external valve body and the dispensing connector. The external valve body through circumferentially placed apertures allows for substantially complete drainage of the flexible bag.
Liquid Dispensing Tap And Liquid Container Provided Therewith
Liquid dispensing tap 1 connectable to a liquid container 70, e.g. a bag in box, for controlled dispensing of a liquid therefrom. The tap comprises a housing 10 forming an inlet of the tap and comprising a dispensing chamber wall portion 13 delimiting a dispensing chamber 14 with a valve seat 16 at an axial end and forming a lateral dispensing outlet 17 in communication with the dispensing chamber 14. The tap 1 comprises a plunger 30 with a stem 31 and a valve portion 32, the stem having an actuator engagement portion 33 outside said dispensing chamber and extending along an axis 15 through a bore 18 in the dispensing chamber wall portion and through the dispensing chamber. The plunger moves axially between a closed and an open position. A manually operable plunger actuator 50 engages said engagement portion of the stem to open the tap.

The plunger moves axially between a closed and an open position. A manually operable plunger actuator 50 engages the engagement portion of the stem to open the tap.
Bag-in-box container for storing and transporting liquids with a maximum security tap for consumption directly or by means of flexible tubes
The invention relates to a bag-in-box container for storing and transporting liquids with a maximum safety tap for direct consumption through flexible tubes, for housing a filled bag with two opposite vertical positions for handling and transport, and another position for dispensation, with better safety control and a content outflow anti-blocking system; and spouts with direct connection to tube lines for the conduction of and mixing with other products at a distance, or for visible dispensation without touching the container at a shorter distance, with another end tap, a flow interrupter with a deformable elastic element connected with flanges that can be actuated between normal and safety closed positions, a nozzle that can be connected to one of the spouts for direct dispensation into the mouth, and a set of measurements printed on the box to help sorting and recycling the components of the container.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE
A temperature control valve includes a main body, a metal valve assembly and a thermoelectric chip unit. The main body has a first inlet and a first outlet. The metal valve assembly is movably disposed in the main body and includes inlet and outlet ends, the metal valve assembly has a closed end engaged with the main body and an operating end operable from outside of the main body to operate the metal valve assembly, and the operating end is operated to control the first inlet, the first outlet, the inlet end and the outlet end to communicate or non-communicate with one another. The thermoelectric chip unit has a first end abutting against the closed end and a second end and is disposed on the main body, one of the first and second ends is a cold end, and the other is a hot end.
SMART VALVE
Methods and systems for accurately determining and delivering the appropriate ingredients, in appropriate quantities, of a particular substance are disclosed. In some instances, a controller of a fluid delivery device opens a valve for an appropriate amount of time to deliver an appropriate amount of fluid. In some instances, the appropriate amount of time is communicated to the controller by an external user device (e.g., a smartphone or a tablet).
Translating Treatment Cartridge, Fluid Dispensing System, and Method of Using
A dispensing system having a treatment cartridge utilizing linear translation of the treatment cartridge within the manifold to actuate a valve to dispense a fluid. To dispense the fluid, a person pushes their glass or other container against a dispensing lever that translates the treatment cartridge within the manifold causing a cam surface on the filter's circumferential exterior to actuate a valve sending the fluid from the valve though the treatment cartridge and out a dispensing orifice in the treatment cartridge into the glass.
Two piece, T-shaped dispensing tap and method of making same
A two piece, molded tap is contemplated. The tap is includes a T-shaped body with a rotatable cap serving as a valve element. Camming means are provided on opposing but concealed faces of the cap to enable the smooth and easy rotation of the cap between open and closed positions while rotating the cap less than one full revolution in comparison to the body which remains fixed to a flexible pouch or container.
