Players visit the different locations on the assembled game board and look for clues to accomplish tasks toward ending the game by accomplishing one final goal. A storyteller may serve as the director of game play for the players
TIMING SYSTEMS INCLUDING TILTING SWITCHES
Timing systems configured to be used with a computing device including an electronic display and a tilt sensor. The timing systems include a switch and computer executable instructions. The switch includes a base and a cradle. The cradle is pivotally mounted to the base and configured to support the computing device. The cradle is configured to pivot relative to the base between a first pivot position and a second pivot position. The computer executable instructions are stored on the computing device and include instructions for displaying a game timer on the electronic display of the computing device. The instructions include controlling the game timer in response to the tilt sensor detecting that the cradle has pivoted between the first pivot position and the second pivot position.

The chess set includes: a board having a surface partitioned into a plurality of square areas each having a square center, a plurality of ferro-magnetic elements, each square area having a ferro-magnetic element embedded under the playing surface at the square center. Also included is a plurality of chess pieces, each chess piece having a magnet embedded in a bottom center portion of the chess piece, and a chess piece position preserver that includes a planar member having a plurality of holes in a square array, each hole having a hole center, each hole center located to align over a square center when the chess piece position preserver is secured in place over the chess board.
Display Base with Extendable-Retractable Cord and Cord End Device
The present invention is a device for action-figures, game-characters, dolls, or models used in strategy and role-play game play that comprises a display base comprising a character attachment means, a cord dispensing (extending)/cord recoiling (retracting) mechanism, and a cord end device attached at the free end of the cord length contained within said cord dispensing/recoiling mechanism. The invention is used during gameplay, with the cord end device and the display base separated by the length of cord extended from the cord dispensing/recoiling mechanism to display a separation of distance, angular range, limit of distance, range of motion, range of boundary, or other gameplay parameter demonstrable by a cord length connecting two separated devices, to demonstrate, confirm, and/or measure the player's character's features, functions, parameters, and/or limitations of gameplay within the game.
Mechanical-mathematical diagonal number board game
A game timer, a game board cartridge, and a plurality of game boards for inserting into the game board cartridge are provided. A play base has a plurality of grids and plurality of timer spots for receiving the game timer with each grid having a plurality of holding cells for receiving one of the plurality of numbered game tiles. A game board cartridge carrier for removeably holding the game board cartridge with the game board cartridge receives at least one of the plurality of game boards. A plurality of numbered game tiles with each of the plurality of tiles having playing tile indicia corresponding to an integer selected within the range of 0 to 9 is provided. The game board cartridge is positioned over the play base and can be rotated in relation thereto. Each of the plurality of game boards is marked with a game board grid having a plurality of rows and columns forming a plurality of squares, with each of the plurality of squares having a game board indicia corresponding to an integer selected within the range of 0 to 9, and with none of the integers repeating within the same row, same column, or with respect to a connecting diagonal square. The plurality of tiles are drawn during game play, so that a player can make a diagonal connection to score points by matching the playing tile indicia with the game board indicia during a predetermined time period measured by the game timer.
