SYSTEM FOR THE PURIFICATION OF WATER BY COLD EVAPORATION THROUGH FRACTIONATED SURFACES
A cold evaporation water purification system by through fractionated surfaces based on a physical phenomenon of liquids called adhesion principle. The liquid sticks to the contour of a solid surface, imitating its shape and thickness, this, by being rounded and thin, allows the thinning of the aqueous films, making them embrace the whole segment (contact surface) and in this way reducing enormously the energy used to carry out evaporation. The thin aqueous film will be efficiently distributed in 360 degrees of a fractionated system that is also in rotation, causing cold evaporation to be much more efficient with respect to commonly used methods. The cold evaporation water purification system by through fractionated surfaces comprises an evaporation mesh, a rotating element, a plastic tub, an air flow turbine and a condensing element.
SYSTEM FOR TREATING BIO-CONTAMINATED WASTEWATER AND PROCESS FOR DECONTAMINATING A WASTEWATER SOURCE
A system and process for decontaminating a bio-contaminated wastewater fluid as from a slaughterhouse or similar facility. The system and process recovers purified vapor/steam through a decontamination unit having a plurality of alternating rotating trays and fixed baffles in a processing vessel producing separate purified and contaminant streams. One or more filter/strainer units are disposed in parallel before the decontamination unit, and may be used alternately while the other is cleaned. A rotating shaft connected to the rotating trays may also connected to an electrical generator to provide electricity for circuits and controls in the system.
Apparatus and process for treating water
A system that uses thermal addition, particle size reduction, increasing surface area, pressure reduction and kinetic energy increases to vaporize and dewater wastewater and/or sludge and/or other liquids mixed with entrained solids to produce a cleaned water condensate and a dewatered solid product. The wastewater and/or sludge enters a cylindrical drum through a rotary entrance valve. A rotating hammermill inside a drum with an exterior thermal jacket pulverizes the entering wastewater or sludge with rotating blades that keep the pulverized product against the inside of the drum's inside surface to vaporize water to separate it from solids. The vaporized water is condensed and discharged from the system and a solid product exits the drum via rotary valves. A vacuum is maintained on the drum to enhance the system.
SYSTEM FOR DECONTAMINATING WATER AND GENERATING WATER VAPOR
A system and method for decontaminating a fluid and recovered vapor, particularly processing and recycling contaminated water, utilizing a vaporizer-desalination unit to separate a contaminated water flow into a contaminated disposal flow and a clean water vapor flow. The contaminated disposal flow may be dried and separated into recovered minerals utilizing heat from the clean water vapor flow to dry the contaminated disposal flow.
SYSTEM FOR DECONTAMINATING WATER AND GENERATING WATER VAPOR
A system and method for decontaminating a fluid and recovered vapor, particularly processing and recycling water used in an oil zone steam process, utilizing a vaporizer-desalination unit to separate a contaminated water flow into a contaminated disposal flow and a clean water vapor flow. The contaminated water flow is recovered after separation from a combined oil and water flow from an oil well. The clean water vapor flow is preferably passed through a steam generator to produce the steam used in the oil zone steam process. The steam is injected into the oil zone of a designated well and then extracted as the combined oil and water flow. Once primed with sufficient external water, the system and method is designed to operate continuously with minimal replenishment because of the water/vapor/steam cycle.
System for processing water and generating water vapor for other processing uses
A system for processing a fluid by generating water vapor through forced compression and rotation in a vessel includes capturing sea water for use in desalination processing in the vessel. Any fluid processed in the vessel, including sea water, can be used to create water vapor that rises to an elevation under its own power. After condensing the water vapor to liquid again, the condensed liquid falls upon a hydro-electric generator to generate electricity that is stored for later use. Brine output from the system can be recycled for re-processing through the system to increase water vapor yield. The wet brine output may also be dried to produce dried brine for subsequent processing of salt and other minerals.
THIN-LAYER TREATMENT DEVICE
A method for producing a cellulose solution with a solvent from a cellulose suspension in the solvent and a volatile non-solvent, including the introduction of the suspension into an inlet of a thin-film treatment apparatus, application and distribution of the suspension in a film-like form on a housing casing, temperature-controlled using a heat exchanger, by sweeper elements rotating about a common axis in a process housing of the treatment apparatus, evaporation of volatile non-solvent so that the cellulose is dissolved, and output of the solution of cellulose from the treatment apparatus through an outlet, wherein at least a part of the sweeper elements cause the cellulose to be advanced in the direction of the outlet so that the discharge at the outlet is between 300 kg/h and 600 kg/h cellulose solution per m.sup.2 of the temperature-controlled surface of the housing casing.
