Thin-layer treatment device
A thin-film treatment apparatus for treating viscous material includes a process housing oriented at an incline of at most 20? with a heatable and/or coolable housing casing, which surrounds a housing interior forming a material treatment space, an inlet nozzle arranged in an inlet zone of the process housing to introduce the material to be treated into the material treatment space, an outlet nozzle arranged in an outlet zone of the process housing to discharge the treated material from the material treatment space, and a drivable rotor shaft arranged in the material treatment space and extending coaxially for producing a material film on the inner surface of the housing casing and for conveying the material in the direction of an outlet zone. The rotor shaft includes at least one lift element arranged on the rotor shaft body, for producing a lifting force in the direction of the rotating rotor shaft body.
Desalination Plant
The invention relates to a desalination plant for producing potable water. The desalination plant includes a housing unit that comprises a vapor producing chamber positioned within the housing unit, an inlet water pipe for delivering salt water, a fuel line, and a vapor producing wheel that includes an internal heating source, and a condenser unit positioned at the top of the housing unit for converting vapor to potable water. The inlet salt water pipe delivers salt water from a source into the housing unit and over the surface of the vapor producing chamber. The vapor producing chamber is rotatable around a central axis and when heated by the heat source produces vapor that is fed into the condenser. The condenser converts the vapor to potable water.
System for treating bio-contaminated wastewater and process for decontaminating a wastewater source
A system and process for decontaminating a bio-contaminated wastewater fluid as from a slaughterhouse or similar facility. The system and process recovers purified vapor/steam through a decontamination unit having a plurality of alternating rotating trays and fixed baffles in a processing vessel producing separate purified and contaminant streams. One or more filter/strainer units are disposed in parallel before the decontamination unit, and may be used alternately while the other is cleaned. A rotating shaft connected to the rotating trays may also connected to an electrical generator to provide electricity for circuits and controls in the system.
System for the purification of water by cold evaporation through fractionated surfaces
A cold evaporation water purification system by through fractionated surfaces based on a physical phenomenon of liquids called adhesion principle. The liquid sticks to the contour of a solid surface, imitating its shape and thickness, this, by being rounded and thin, allows the thinning of the aqueous films, making them embrace the whole segment (contact surface) and in this way reducing enormously the energy used to carry out evaporation. The thin aqueous film will be efficiently distributed in 360 degrees of a fractionated system that is also in rotation, causing cold evaporation to be much more efficient with respect to commonly used methods. The cold evaporation water purification system by through fractionated surfaces comprises an evaporation mesh, a rotating element, a plastic tub, an air flow turbine and a condensing element.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING A BIOMASS MATERIAL
An apparatus for processing a biomass material includes an evaporator and a dryer. The evaporator includes a vertically orientated evaporator housing with a heatable casing, which encloses a rotationally symmetric evaporation chamber and a drivable evaporator rotor shaft, including a central evaporator rotor shaft body and wiping units. The wiping unit includes wiping elements designed for wiping inside the evaporator housing casing. The dryer includes a housing with heatable casing and encloses a drying chamber and a drivable dryer rotor shaft for distributing the biomass material inside the casing and conveying the biomass material toward the dryer outlet and includes a central dryer rotor shaft body and rotating elements over the circumference thereof, and rigidly mounted on the dryer rotor shaft body.
