The filter canister and filter base may hold at least about one third of the required engine oil supply when removed from the engine adapter. The engine adapter includes an oil inlet passage, an oil outlet passage, and a filter base mounting cavity. A check valve is biased to close an oil outlet opening from the filter canister, trapping oil inside the filter canister when it is removed from the engine adapter.

The chemical filter is configured to filter the processing solution from the source. The apparatus may include a vacuum pump that is configured to apply a vacuum to the chemical filter. The apparatus may include a valve system configured to operate in a first operating state and a second operating state, where in the first operating state the valve system is configured to couple the source to the chemical filter and block the vacuum to the chemical filter, and where in the second operating state the valve system is configured to couple the vacuum to the chemical filter and block the source to the chemical filter.

The chemical filter is configured to filter the processing solution from the source. The apparatus may include a vacuum pump that is configured to apply a vacuum to the chemical filter. Structures, methods, and assemblies for stormwater management systems with one or more internal bypass features incorporated into a vault-shaped enclosure are described, along with methods and additional structures that are useful for managing stormwater flow and inhibiting the flow of pollutants, debris, and other contaminants into drainage systems. A first compartment disposed within the vault and comprising a removable bypass pipe, a baffle wall adjacent to the bypass pipe, a screened floatables baffle attached to the baffle wall, and a fluid-conveyance opening disposed along the baffle wall are described. A fluid-conveyance opening is located below the top of a bypass pipe, and a second compartment is in fluid communication with the first compartment through the fluid-conveyance opening. A second compartment is adapted to incorporate a filtration cartridge. An underdrain defined at least in part by the upper and lower floor slabs of the vault is disposed below and in fluid communication with the first compartment through the bypass pipe.

A filter assembly and method of filtering wastewater from a washing machine. The filter has a framework for supporting a first filter stage and a second filter stage, a connection on a top of the filter assembly for connecting to a wastewater stream, a diffuser positioned to extend into the first filter stage and configured to rotate about a vertical axis of installation within the first filter stage, and a second filter stage below the first filter stage and configured to receive overflow from the first filter stage. The filter assembly does not include a motor or motorized parts and wherein the diffuser is rotatable by way of the force of the wastewater stream fed into the first filter stage to diffuse the wastewater stream and to spray the wastewater onto and through the filter media allowing the filter media to catch debris within the first filter stage.
