FILTER ELEMENT WITH INTEGRATED DRAIN FILTER
The technology disclosed herein relates to, in part, a filter assembly having a primary media assembly and a secondary media assembly in fluid communication with the primary media assembly. A filter assembly outlet is downstream of the secondary media assembly. A filtration pathway extends through the primary media assembly, the secondary media assembly, and the filter assembly outlet. A drain pathway extends through the secondary media assembly and the filter assembly outlet, wherein the drain pathway circumvents the primary media assembly.
Filter cartridge for liquid filtration; assembly; and, methods
A liquid filter cartridge is provided. Preferred seal arrangements are provided, to provide for preferred axial load conditions, with respect to one or more of the end caps of the cartridge. Some cartridge configurations provided include no core structure or outer liner structure therein, to support axial load. Assemblies using the cartridge, and methods of assembly and use, are provided. The liquid filter cartridge can be a serviceable cartridge, or it can be retained permanently in a housing.
FILTER ELEMENT ENDCAP WITH SHROUD
A filter element has a filter media assembly extending between a first end and a second end to define a media length along a longitudinal axis. The filter media assembly defines a central opening on an upstream side and an outer radial boundary on a downstream side. A first endcap is coupled to the first end. The first endcap has a media potting structure defining an annular surface abutting the first end of the filter media assembly, an inner tubular flange extending longitudinally from the annular surface into the central opening, and an outer tubular flange extending longitudinally from the annular surface over the outer radial boundary of the first end of the filter media assembly. The first endcap has an outer circumferential sealing surface about the longitudinal axis and a shroud to obstruct fluid flow extending longitudinally from the outer circumferential sealing surface towards the second end.
FILTER DEVICE TOGETHER WITH FILTER ELEMENT
A filter device for the filtration of fluids, at least consisting of a filter housing (10), which can be closed by means of a cover (40), and a filter element (30) accommodated in a replaceable manner in the filter housing (10), is characterized in that at least one functional element is present on the cover (40) and on the filter housing (10) and on the filter element (30) in such a way that the filtration of the fluid is only possible when all functional elements interact simultaneously.

Filter device
A filter device has a filter housing (1) with a fluid inlet (13) for raw fluid, with a fluid outlet (3) for filtrate and with at least one one-piece or multi-piece filter insert (5, 7) received in the filter housing (1). The filter insert can be cleaned using at least one back-flushing member (21) in counter-current to the filtration direction. This back-flushing member can, by a fluid-guiding driveshaft (23) of a rotary drive (35), be moved along the inner side (19) of the respective filter insert (5, 7) and has, at its end adjacent to this inner side (19), a gap-shaped passage opening (39) that extends parallel to the axis of rotation of the driveshaft (23) and that discharges into a flow space (41; 57; 67) fluidically connected to the driveshaft (23). The flow space at least partially continuously narrows in the direction of the driveshaft (23) in a first plane in which the passage opening (39) lies. In another second plane transverse to the first plane, the flow space (41; 57; 67) at least partially continuously widens proceeding from the passage opening (39) in the direction of the driveshaft (23).

Solid waste interceptor for a drain
A solid waste interceptor for a drain includes a tank for collecting waste water therein, the tank having a waste water inlet and a waste water outlet, a tray housing a strainer basket being slidably mounted within the tank, in the manner of a drawer, to be moved between a closed position in which the strainer basket receives waste water from the waste water inlet, and an open position in which the tray extends from the tank to provide access to the strainer basket to facilitate emptying of collected solid waste therefrom. The tray is provided with a drain outlet for delivering waste water passing through the strainer basket into a sump of the tank, and the drain outlet spigot is adapted to abut a front wall of the tank when the tray is in its open position to delimit the open position of the tray.
